I have an 06 4x4 crew cab. Its the bet little truck I ever bought. aside from a a minor fule line repair at 30,000 miles . I now have 125,000 miles on it, and it is still going strong.

Bought it new in May of 2007 and immediately went on 3,000 mile road trip. Ran perfect. 5 cyl has surprising power and will get 25 mpg at 65-70. Only thing that bothers me is that, at 6'5", the top of the windshield is too low for me to see a traffic signal at an intersection. Headroom is fine and more than enough leg room. Better head and leg roon than any mid-size, even better than the full size trucks I checked. 27,000 trouble free miles....read morehide

I have an 04. I put Mastercraft snow tires on the rear for the Michigan winters and have yet to get stuck. The back seat backs fold forward to make a nice flat surface. with 39000 miles no problems. This truck was $5,000,00 cheaper than the Tacoma with more options.

Very poor gas milage and underpowered. Transmisstion downshifts on a regular basis when going up the smallest incline down the highway. That also doesnt help the gas milage either. I have the 4x4 Z71. A full size truck gets better gas milage than this. Over all other the gas milage it is a nice truck. 5cyl Engine..?...read morehide

20k miles and no major complaints. Handles everything I throw at it: loads of dirt, pulling a trailier, snow, muddy hunting fields, two kids

Chincy doors, poor pickup, box leaks and controls not user friendly. Things fall between the seats ans are not retreivable.

The '04-'07 incarnations of the Colorado/Canyon are nothing but trouble. Brake Problems, Warning light reduced power issues, suspension, etc. etc. Do your research before buying this lemon!!!
