I would buy a new truck if I needed too. This is a great little truck if your not over 6'2" 250lbs. Does a great job off road, only got stuck once while hunting. Room for 4 easy, back seat needs a little more angle for comfort, the back seat should fold up like the big truck for more room. The only trouble I have had is every now and then it just doesn't want to start, it turns over but just won't start, this is only after running for awhile. After it side for about 10 mins it starts right up like nothing was wrong, still can;t find what's wrong....read morehide

over all a nice truck. ride is good for highway, but to soft for off road. power was good, shifting was great. streeing good. everything was easy to reach in the cab.

I love driving my little truck around, is quite spacious. At times the engine is a bit too small when you need the power. The gas mileage for this size truck with the 5 cyclinder engine is horrible.

We have owned our Colorado almost a year and bought it brand new. Got a fantastic deal on it and pushed the dealership to throw in a sun roof which opened up the cab a lot. We can easly sit 5 adults in it and enjoy the features like the On Star and it came with a year of satellite radio. The sound system doesn't get very loud and isn't impressive and the seats could be a little more comfy for long trips. The center console is made of cheap plastic and doesn't have an upholstered arm rest like my S10's had. It's certainly an upgrade from the S10 model though. Lots of cup holders galore (6 in all) and the bed is just the right size for hauling stuff. For a straight 5 cylinder it has a lot of mustard and is pretty decent on gas if you lay off the pedal at the light. Doesn't turn too sharply but I consider that a safety feature for snowy conditions. Haven't had any problems with it and one day shortly after getting it I locked the keys in but all I had to do was call On Star and they remotely unlocked it within 2 minutes saving me an expensive tow truck call.
Overall, impressed with what we got for the money and enjoy taking it up to the snow for snowboarding. Continues to impress us and totally happy with our purchase....read morehide

Very practical truck, but under powered as a 4x4, the 4 and 5 cylinder engine is lacking, should offer larger engines. Largest down fall is the value. I would never recommend due to it doesn't retain any value, I wanted to trade-in for another Colorado with larger engine. Two chevrolet dealers wouldn't give me more than 12.5K as a trade-in. pathetic!!!!!...read morehide

I purchased this truck because I live in a rugged not very paved country. Compared to the choices I had in this country, this was the best deal. Warranty is terrible; 2 years - 24,00KM. If you don't service this vehicle at a dealer ( oil change, air filter... anything ) warranty is void. What a scam!...read morehide
