I've owned a number of Chevrolet trucks over the years and once again, I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of this truck. Its got fantastic gas mileage for a full size 4x4 and it rides like a nice car. Even my Japanese wife likes to sneak away in it for trips to the store. Truck has a little over 60 k on it and I'v replaced inner tie rod ends, also had to have the posi replaced and I didnt go back to stock unit (junk) $ 1800.00 that hurts.

Best Chevy ever! This truck rides smooth and performs great. It has a lot of power when you need it but saves gas when you don't.

Frame is not fully boxed....

Doesnt tow much, has low tow ratings due to weak frame, chevy is a little underpowered.....rides nice on the street but not offroad....U'd think chevy would catch onto Dodges fully boxed frame since they have been making a strong frame for years....

Overall the truck has a great ride. I bought the work truck crew cab one week ago. It has a small v-8. It really does not have many of the high end accessories of some of the other trucks. My truck has manual windows, plastic floor covers, cruise control, and window tinting. I really like the way the second row of seats shift up to allow for in cab storage.

There really two main complaints (1) gas mileage is only 17 mpg, & (2) it is hard to park in small prking lots....read morehide

I average 19.7 miles per gallon and 70 percent of my miles are city miles. I can't believe this has a 5.3 liter V8.
