relatively refined ride and handling, smooth, powerful, and very quiet diesel engine

size and turning radius is a real handful in some parking lots

Overall the diesel engine and allison transmission were the deciding factors for my purchase. I traded in a less powerful and much noisier Nissan Titan King Cab. The chevy dealer tried to talk me out of the diesel saying "on paper you have to drive alot of miles for it to pay off..." However I paid extra for the power and fuel 16 mpg all around fuel economy (hard driving). I knew what to expect before the purchase and spent about $10,000 upgrading the drivetrain and engine and this nearly 7000 pound truck is refined, efficient, roomy, safe, and very fast. I appreciate a vehicle that can get out of its own way. My wife drives a 2007 Yukon Denali with a base corvette engine. Its powerful 417 ft lbs torque at the flywheel or 320 at the rear wheels. I had my pickup dyno tested and it has 765lbs of torque at the wheels. If you wish for a practical, roomy sleeper that accelerates like it should probably be outlawed then this is your choice.
