Awsome car. I compared it against the R/T and Camaro. Hands down the best car of the three. The camaro just didn't have the head room I needed to be safe. I'm 6'1" and my head was up against the roof. One accident and I'm a goner. The challenger was more retro for me. The modernized the camero too much for my taste. The only thing I didn't like about the R/T was the front bucket seats were very cheaply made. Not so on the SRT8. Currenlt deployed in Iraq and my wife will be taking care of it for me and haveing a good old time driving it....read morehide

I've owned this car for a year now, and LOVE everything about it except the paranoia of having it in strange parking lots. I've had no trouble leaving any base model vette. Shelbys and ZO6's another story, but I didn't pay 80K either. I'll let the Vipers eat up those guys. Yea there is a little to much plastic on it. I don't think the auto tranny is real freindly, but I am getting used to it, b'cuz I do like to manual shift it. That little "fart" on the 1- 2 shift is sorta funny, but i could do without it. I like the ESP for the wife and like to turn if off when I drive. You can feel the heft of the car in the quick corners, It will dance a little on you, but it has never felt scary. The brakes are great, the brake dust is never ending though. I recommend one, but you won't have a chance to get mine in the next 20 yrs. Not cheap anyways....read morehide

We bought a black SRT8 in November, just finished putting the STS Twin Turbo system under it and it is AWESOME! Our friend bought a red one and his brother bought an orange one and everyone is very satisfied with the purchase. We cruise down the road and get more attention than you can imagine! It runs great and f-a-s-t, sounds good, handles well. I just can't say enough about how happy we are with it!...read morehide

Just bought this Bad Boy. It is a beauty and a monster. I have the Autostick and it works like a charm. It is a big car and you know it when driving, but punch the accelerator and your over 100 MPH in a blink of an eye, and the engine seems to beg you to allow it to run like the wind, free and open. Then, reality hits and you start looking for the red and blue lights in your review mirror. You say to yourself slow down and reluctantly you ease off the accelerator and you and the big engine sigh deeply and you think, if only! It is an awesome car, a tribute to the age of American Muscle Cars....read morehide

I have been fortunate enough to have acquired several Porsches (911's) as well as a very fast Audi RS4 in my life time. This Challenger SRT8 has got to be the most fun vehicle that I've owned. It's not the fastest or best handling, but it has the perfect balance of performance, comfort and look that will ensure its place as permanent fixture in my garage. The SRT group should be lauded for their achievements. They truly understand the passion of this automobile enthusiast!...read morehide

The SRT8 Challenger is a fine car. It probably wont hold its value, though, especially in this economy. This is the reason I warn about Cerritos Dodge in Cerritos , CA. They are advertising cars for a specific amount and then when you get there you discover they have added $8,000 in dealer markups that they say cant be removed. For example, a Cold Air Intake they charge costs $695 and you can buy them all day long for $325. An "exhaust system" for $2495 that is worth half that is also added. And the final kicker is a $5,000 market adjustment. Are you kidding me!...read morehide

Great car. Has styling, comfort, performance and plenty of nice features in the SRT. It's like buying a restored muscle car with modern technology.

This car gets looks where ever I go , it has nimble handling for a big car.The interior is the best dodge has ever built. Well laid out ,good materals, great fit and finish. The 6.1 hemi is unreal.Turn off the traction control and the car won't hook up through first 3 gears. On a 150 trip I got 21.2 mpg .Not bad for a heavy car with 425 hp.The brakes are great. I've owned 4 cars with a 6 speed stick and this by far the best of the bunch. The only thing I realy don't like is no spare tire.or jack....read morehide
