Just rented one looks cool, goes really fast but very hard to see traffic lights and easy to kill some one when you change lanes on the highway as you can't see in the mirrors. This car has 34,000 and it sounds like the power steering is going out. Wind makes the car weave around so it seems to keep you busy at the wheel. Lights seem good to see down the road at night trunk is nice and big seats sit pretty good. only got 22 mpg on the highway with cruise set around 65 driving though ILL....read morehide

I had been forced to drive an '09 Taurus and now have had a used '09 Charger for about 5000 miles. The Charger is a much better vehicle in so many ways. The main advantage is rear wheel drive, the ride is so much better and the handling more crisp. The interior is laid out better and the seats actually offer some degree of support. The interior materials are cheap, one of the air vent sliders just disintigrated and there is a lot of pebbled plastic everywhere. The engine, even though the upgraded 3.5 L V-6, is weak and the problem is made worse with the sluggish 4speed auto with a very tall 4th gear and a lot of weight. Even disabling the traction control can't arouse this slumbering beast. BUT, it looks good, rides well, is so far dependable and provides so-so (19mpg avg) mileage for a fairly decent price....read morehide

I purchased this car about one year ago. If you have any doubt in your mind that this is a FAST car, don't - it is. I have recieved Hundreds of compliments on the car in the year I have had it... (I did customize it a little bit), and it rides smoother than a cadillac. This is a well built, comfortable, dependable, fast car that I highly reccomend to anyone who wants to have a little fun on the road. Yup that's right, the American car companies still got "it"....read morehide

We traded in my 2001 Intrepid, which I loved. We wanted to stick with a full size sedan and Dodge. It had to be a Charger. I spoke with two people who own 2008's and they both love them. Living in Wisconsin, the only concern was rear-wheel drive. Both guys told me it does ok and you get the hang of it after awhile. I've owned it four weeks and we've had nothing but snowy, icy roads. I agree, it handles exceptionally well for rwd. We bought the SXT 250hp V6. First thing...the looks. Every person that sees this thing mentions how awesome it looks. And I agree. By the way, I got the Black Pearlcoat. It is quick off the line and this engine makes it easy for a quick pass at highway speeds. It handles great..even though I haven't had it over 75mph or taken a turn or curve at as fast a speed as I would like due to road conditions. I can't wait for spring! The interior is as roomy or roomier than my old Intrepid and the trunk is huge. The back seats even fold down if needed for transporting something bigger in the trunk. I've got over 1000 miles already. I average half highway and half city miles. I am getting 20mpg. Slightly less than my Intrepid, which got me 24mpg. I can't say enough about this Charger. It rocks! .. also, I got lucky with this particular model...it has an upgraded, touch screen stereo with dvd player. The sound is inredible....read morehide
