Transmission and Wiring Problems with no parts available/Service Contract stinks

My 2006 Dodge Dakota has been in the shop for 8 weeks. First the tranny made a noise in reverse. Dealer states it was normal. It grinds going into reverse.This is not normal.Service contract rep. states take it for a second opinion. What is this a doctors office. On the way to the second service center the truck died in 1/2 mile from the dealer. Towed in it has been there for 7 weeks. Contact with customer service is being put on hold for an hour with no resolution. Just keep in contact with the service center I have been told. The dealer cannot find out what is wrong and have been changing parts as per theDodge Tech Center but they cannot get parts. Two weeks ago Dodge finally gave me a rental car for one week. I have to call them to approve the rental every week (with over 1 hour on the phone ans 30 mins. on hold. for approval) I paid $3,000.00 for a 100,000 mile service contract and have receive nothing but grief. Now the wiring is to be fixed by 9/7/09 but this is not the issue to begin with there still is the transmission problem. This is why we buy imports....read morehide
