Best truck out there in my opinion. i love it when tundras, chevys amd other cars try to race me on the road and i show them what my HEMI can do and blow right past them all. I have the crew cab and there is tons of spacein the front and back. the leather seats at nice and cozy. I test drove this truck with the expectations that it would be so-so in quality( sorry diehard Dodge fans !) . However, I was wrong on that account. The biggest selling point to me was the transmission. It shifts smoothly even under hard acceleration and kicks down without hesitation when I want to pass. I've put 2000 miles on mine so far and I have managed ,with the A/C on to get 22 MPG on the highway driving 70 MPH. I get 16 MPG in the city with A/C on, not too shabby for a 4.7L ! I use 87 octane gas but no ethanol as of yet. However, I have noticed before the truck warms up ,the engine RPMs fluctuate like it has a "cam" while doing 20 MPH or less; a little annoying but tolerable. I got the Crew Cab because of the better rear passenger legroom and nicer looking full size rear doors. Keep in mind that the Crew Cab also has rear under floor storage compartments that you can pull out to clean ,that's where I put ice and my sodas ! Do your research folks, Dodge has come a long way as far as the truck category and I am impressed. Get the TRX model. It has factory fender flares like the Laramie but costs much less and they keep rocks from being flung by your wheels and chipping your paint, something to consider ! They look cool too. As far as reliability, so far so good. No engine lights or parts falling off in the interior yet. Just the engine speed fluctuation as stated earlier. Looked at all the major truck brands out there and test drove them. My Ram is by far the best responding vehicle I test drove; and the spectacular deal I recieved was great. I even managed to get leather seats added for free. Considering the out the door price tag of 31K there was no way I could turn it down. The gas milage is pretty good(better than any of my past large engine trucks). I would strongly recommend you check this truck out before you buy another, it also come with the lifetime tranny and engine warranty....read morehide

Just back from a 3500 mile round trip to the west coast. My wife, my son and two grand kids. Comfortable, quiet, SMOOTH, 18.3 MPG avg for trip. Fast, 7 hours flagstaff to albaquerque. Never missed a lick in the mountains. Traded a 2007 F150 in on it. Have also owned bow ties, Nissan, toyota and Mitsubishi, nothing else comes close. Performance and comfort are alive and well at Dodge pickup division. Great price, best truck I have owned....read morehide

I purchased the crew cab model new with only .8 miles on it. I was impressed with the power and handleing for a large truck. The coils out back never gave me feed back like some people said would happen. I did my research and found dollar for dollar the dodge cam up better in almost catagory. (power was a lil more in toyota, but since i have never been a fan of toyota i chose not to buy it.) It was very hard to find a Ram with a RamBox, until a sales person locally told me they were comeing later in production. They just started shipping out about a month ago. One was in show room in Bright blue and fell in love. Bought truck outright with money from an inheritance and kept my old one for a gift to my father. So far no problems and with my last 3 vehicles since 16(im 26 now), All dodge an i never had a problem, PERIOD. Well worth the wait for the Ram Box. If you are on the fence, go test drive thats the point of a test drive, you will be very surprised at the fit and finish of this new dodge since lately everyone has had a problem with it at some point. Also, Get the floor shifter, not the colum shifter. Ford isnt the only one now with that option. with the offers on it at teh time, i only paid $34,000, WWWWAAAAAAYYYYYY less then any other dealer, even beat chevy with there little employee priceing deal....read morehide

This truck makes me want to stare at it for hours in my garage but then I stop and go drive it and let others stare at its glory. sold my ole ford 2004 f150 for this Ram and this Ram is light years ahead of ford and trucks. It's a GREAT truck; and with the factory and dealer incentives factored in, a STEAL. I have the Crew Cab, and my other truck-owning friends marvel at how much room there is inside. The factory dual-exhaust sounds great, without any drone in the cab. The ride absorbs the bumps and humps without floating or feeling mushy.
