I almost bought a Chevy but thank god I listened to my wife on buying a ford. This truck is excellent on gas, took a trip from NC thru the mountains to MI about 700 miles and only went thru 1 and half tanks of gas. I had 04 f150 xl, put over 130000 miles on it as working truck miles, had only abs rear sensor failure after about 70000 miles and $80 to replace it, had no problem since then, still own that one, new looks lot better, and gas mileage improved, still best work truck out there

I am very satisfied with my new 2009 Ford Truck except for the window cranks. I didn't get power windows and the crank handles are located too low. I hit my hand on the hard part of the lower seat when lowering and raising the window. Everything else is peachy.

I have an 05 and 08 no problems the 05 is kind of slow but the 08 will smoke the tires, thats just because 08 is a long bed and base trim (lighter) they got on price of 05 but I got Ford back on the price of 08.

I trade my 2007 tundra for this truck the tundra isn't even half the truck this one is I very impress with this truck it have more towing the the tundra before i had to think of if i could cause I broke the rear suspension twice on the tundra and after a year it never towing the same. This new F150 is the King of 1/2 ton pickups I'm currently getting 23mpg with this truck and All i can say is Import leave the trucks to Americans to build cause you don't even compare my views have been change after being a huge toyota fan for years I've also found the resale value really doesn't matter its over cost. thanks everyone should really given the Domestic vehicals more of a change...read morehide
