I just purchases the '09 Lariat Super cab 145" WB. I love the style of the truck and how quiet it is inside. There is nearly no road noise. I also have the 20" wheels so that is nice. I think that Ford did well by taking some things from the old 150 and from the Super Duty to make an all around very nice truck.
The one thing that I was not overly impressed with is the power of the 310HP 5.4L V-8. I thought it would be a lot quicker with the lighter frame and all. I am not saying the 6-speed is not smooth, it is very smooth and nice to drive....read morehide

Frame is very strong. Engine doesn't put out enough power to even tow 11,000 pounds! It struggles on heavey loads. All around a pretty good work truck. Better than chevy thats 4 sure.

Great Gas mileage but it doesnt like to go off road or start in the cold. Pretty good work truck....has a good frame. Not the most reliable truck out there though....doesnt have much power.....
