I love this truck. Crew cab configuration has more rear leg room than a stretch limo, seats flip up for trips to Home Depot or the grocery store or hauling the kids to school. The interior finishes are rich and well done with a mixture of finely brushed steel, rich leather with contrasting stitching, great sounding stereo- NAV system is easy to use and allows uploading of pics and music with the Microsoft Sync option....read morehide

Truck vibrates starting around 55mph and gets worse around 75mph

Tried out new 4x4 King Ranch crew cab truck, noticed vibration around 55mph and was told this was a tire balancing problem and they would take care of it. I bought the truck and took back 2 days later as scheduled for balancing, seemed a little better until I got on the interstate about 3 days later, It vibrated much worse around 75mph. Took truck back and service dept told me that was all they could do, they let me drive another new 4x4 crew and it done the same thing, another person in the service dept told me they had the same complaint from other owners. I contacted the Ford consumer affairs dept about problem, they told me the truck was within specifications and offered no solution other than if it got worse to take it back to the dealer. From that remark I assume they have a problem with the 4x4's....read morehide

I had a 2006 F150 Lariat 4X4, and I thought that was an exceptional vehicle, until I drove the 2009.
You would not think you could make a Truck any more quiet, add more power, and get better gas mileage, but Ford has done it with the all new 2009 F150.
I purchased a 2009 F150 FX4, and love it. I even have to fight my wife for it, because she wants me to drive her Edge, so she can have the truck.

Traded in the 2005 F150 FX4 for a new 2009 F150 FX4, and its a total night and day difference in trucks, the 09 has better acceleration, more quiet and smoother ride, it feels more solid, the steering is stiff and tight, the seats are higher from the floor, the exhaust sounds stronger and it has better vision.
Its like your driving a luxury car. so quiet, soo smooth, when driving it feels like i'm going 30 mph when i'm really going 60 mph....read morehide

Good Mpg, same as my last truck that was a mid size. Lots of power easy towing, handles well in snow and ice.

Hands free sync is very cool, looks fantastic, best looking truck on the road.

Ford did make some improvements on quality but my truck is still acting up already with only 5,000 miles. Having electrical problems and also problems with 4X4 and transfer case is acting up. Wish I had a little more power. But if my truck keep braking Im going to sell it.

I trade my 2007 tundra for this truck the tundra isn't even half the truck this one is I'm very impress with this truck it have more towing the the tundra before i had to think of if i could what i needed to, cause I broke the rear suspension twice on the tundra and after a year it never towing the same. This new F150 is the King of 1/2 ton pickups I'm currently getting 23mpg with this truck and All i can say is Import leave the trucks to Americans to build cause you don't even compare my views have been change after being a huge toyota fan for years I've also found the resale value really doesn't matter its over cost. thanks everyone should really given the Domestic vehicals more of a chance!!!!!!!!!!...read morehide
