Overall this is an awesome truck! It has a lot of get up and go and plenty of leg room in the front and back seats. I was not in anyway a FORD girl but this truck is sure changing my mind. I can, however say that I hate the seats and head rests in this truck they just arent a comfy as my Chevy's. I TOTALLY love the SYNC feature....it's a must have for anyone!

Beautiful exterior re-design. Very smooth ride for a full size truck. Interior is very functional, looks rugged, and has very cool options like SYNC. The 5.4 litre V8 is excellent with boat in tow.

I own a Lariat Crew SWB in white w/tan saddle leather. The leather cracks and looks terrible. You can "paint" the leather and make it look better, but still is a problem. The BIG problem - who at Ford engineering got the "bright" idea to put individual coils on top of the spark plugs? I've been driving 30+ years and have NEVER had a coil failure - until this year. I had TWO in one week. I did a "tune-up" - replaced spark plugs, springs, boots(No plug wires), and coils. My truck has a 5.4 L V-8 and parts cost $885.41. I did the work myself. Which gets me to my last point - engineering NOT. Please ask any Ford drivetrain engineer to replace the back plug on the passenger side. I took my truck to a Ford dealership with a certified technician - it took him ONE HOUR to change this plug - I paid him $100 to do it, after tax, materials, etc. were included. That's $1,000 for a tune-up!!
Ford has a better idea? PLEASE. I am a technical instructor at a college and I am disgusted that Ford has kept the coil-on-tpo-of -the -plug going so long. Must be a design aimed to sell coils. The coil fails because of its' location - on top of one of the hottest components in the engine compartment. As I said, I've never replaced even ONE coil in thirty years of driving. Go back to plug wires. At least they are relatively inexpensive, and if onefails while you're away from home, you can pull into any junkyard and get something that will get you home. Not so with todays' coil nightmare. I've always bought Ford trucks, but I won't next year when I trade again if the coil arrangement is still the same. Looks like Silverado next year. I can carry an extra coil pack around and a plug wire behind the seat!!!!...read morehide

This is my 3rd f150 in 10 years. best trucks i owned. I have owned 2 ! 1500 that would not hold up for me they would always blow trany's , cam's.

Gas mileage is great! This is a pretty good truck if you look past the repairs youll have to do. I had some suspension issues right off the bat. Also the ride quality isnt the best. Shocks are stiffer than most trucks. The 5.4 triton is an ok engine not under powered not over powered. I guess it could use a little more "umf"!...read morehide

Great truck, very comfortable, lots of room in the cab, very strong engine that is good on gas, great stable suspension, flat flooring in the cab, updated safety features.
I got one with all the bells and whistles, and it competes with some high end luxury cars!
