I bought my truck in Feb. it was the Texas Edition. I think this Sierra is the best looking truck out there. It has excellent fit and finish, low road noise and I like that it has a firm enough suspension that doesn't feel like I'm on a boat. bought it brand new. drive 100 miles one way to work 5 days a week. at 33k miles my entire transmission blew. it was under warranty so they fixed it. i think it was very odd. all i do is run it at about 78mph on the freeway

I actually own 2 of these. Bought the wife the first (she's a pickup kinda gal) and then I needed a new truck. Seriously looked at GMC Chevy Ford and Dodge. Dodge was nice--but they could offer near the deal GM did. I just think the GMC looks a little nicer than the Chevy, but they are the same. I'd probably order captains seats the next time. I can't get fully comfortable on long trips. Could be me. The power is good, but it doesn't feel like 315HP. Gas mileage is real good. I think the thing is geared such that it gets good mileage but it hides some of the torque. This is a way bigger truck than the previous two GM pickup styles. It is really big. A little under powered but over all has ok power. Suspension is really bad in the rear, shocks are in-bound which results in bad off-road quality. Bed is not fully boxed which makes carrying heavey loads kind of a drag.

Rides very nice! Like a car! But its a truck and should ride like a truck. Its a good truck in the cities but not really a work truck. Has lots of frame flex when towing. This GM engine could use a HEMI! But it get so so gas mileage.

Excellent fit & finish. Interior not truck-like. Ride height-nice & high. Engine rumble is pleasing.

Cons

If I had one it would be the slight bouncy nature of the suspension. It's tons better than my Dodge.

I bought new 09 Sierra SLE with the Texas Pkg. I'm very pleased with the truck. It's the nicest truck I have owned . Fit and finish is tops! Power is great!
