I purchased the Stealth Gray 4x4 Crewcab model with ebony leather seats, heavy duty towing package, regional package, integrated trailer brakes and skid plate package and I love it! I purchased the truck for $31,000 with most of the extra packages except the convenience package, GPS, and DVD player. I researched all other trucks and none could touch the great deal GMC has to offer. I actually set out to purchase my third Toyota 4x4 truck but they wanted $32,000 for just the Tacoma loaded like I wanted (I was not interested in the full size Tundra). Plus GMC has better gas mileage with much more room. I also added interior heavy duty floor mats, 6" step rails, GMC bedrug, and a heavy duty BakFlip HD Tonneau Cover....read morehide

Seats collect and show every speck of dust or dirt, dash and door panels hard to clean because of the texture. Steering wheel controls are not easy to use. Temp and compass are now by the odometer which is not convient for the passangers to read. Difficult to change the settings on the heater, defroster, A/C while driving. Connot tow a 5th wheel trailer because of the short box. Towing capacity is much lower than the 2007 1500 HD crew cab I traded in. Went from a 6.0 litre to a 5.3 litre Fuel economy is 2-3 mpg better, not worth the trade off....read morehide

I have had my truck for almost a month now, and i am very pleased with everything about it.. The sonoma red with the all terrain package is a sharp looking beast.. I picked up the All terrain model to play with in a few fields around my place in the spring, with a few extras like sliding rear window .... Great for gassy dogs!!! lol.. This truck handles the snow like no other vehicle i have ever driven.. I have not slid once even with almost a foot of snow, ice or rain on the roads..
Mileage has not been too bad considering the motor is just breaking in.. I expected to consume more fuel in a larger vehicle.. I just can't wait for the summer to pull my boat down the highway..
Guages are clear and concise, bluetooth rocks as well.....read morehide

I traded my 04 GMC for my new 09 GMC. WOW, I realy like the interior and all the new features. This is a truck that rides like a car. For anyone who hasn't driven a truck lately, try this one on for size I promise you'll love it.

Love this truck. Z-71 rides better than most cars and for MPG.......held the cruse at 68 mph and got 22 miles to the gallon!!!! The only thing I don't like about this truck is the seats collect lint. Every time I get in I say holly crap this is nice.
