Automatic Climate Control keeps turning to vent

This is my 4th Honda and I have been happy with every one of them until now. I bought this car 9 days ago and have already brought it to Honda twice for issues with the A/C. Both times they told me the car was working as designed and wouldnt even bring the car back to check. If I put the A/C on Auto it fluctuates between recirculation and vent. So every couple of seconds it brings in the hot humid air from outside. So the car is continually humid. Its July in Florida, so needless to say its very uncomforatble. If I turn the Auto off, my only options are vent or recirculation. My last 3 Honda's allowed me to have the A/C on without being on recirculation. Also, this car wont allow me to switch the mode without taking it out of Auto. So when its 100 degrees outside and I want the A/C to cool my feet, I cant do it on Auto. I never had that issue with the last 3 Honda's. Honda says that this is a new "feature" in the 2009 model. I should have kept my 2001 Accord, at least it kept me cool and comfortable when I drove.
