I agree with Dennis' review. This is a great car for the money. If you're determined to have a manual transmission, and if you can find one in a performance car that average people can afford, the Honda is the real deal. Mine was the only 6-speed in 3 states, so I jumped on it. The Belize blue is um vibrant, but it's growing on me. The car is a champ on the highway, moving easily in and out of traffic, with loads of power on tap. It may be a bit rough in stop and go traffic, but that's to be expected in a car with true sporty character. Again, if you MUST have a manual transmission, and some of us just can't drive anything else, you'll love this car....read morehide

Had my car for about 5 months. Have nothing but good things to say about it.
Cylinder Management gives you good gas mileage if you want to drive it like a 4 Cylinder, but v6 power always there if you want to have a little fun.
I have nothing but positive things to say about this car. Give it a test drive and see if you agree.
PS: try to V6. The fun factor more than makes up for the price difference over the 4 cylinder....read morehide

This is my company car they picked so I can't change it but after driving it for 6 months I would never buy one of these no power lemons, xm radio doesn't work half the time.

Just purchased the 09 Accord coupe Ex 4cyl auto
Great looking car for the price, handles, drives and brakes very well, enough power for a 4cyl.
The front seats are very uncomfortable, head rest is positioned much to foward & with no lower back or shoulder support. Other than that it's a nice set of wheels "Got to do something about those seats"!...read morehide

I bought my 2008 Honda Accord Coupe last year and I will be getting my third set of brakes tomorrow. I have 36,000 miles on my car but I drive 90 highway miles a day so its not intense driving. I have been told by many people that the brakes on this car have gone as soon as 9,000 miles and one person even told me that he had to replace the rotars at 13,000. My grandfather has the Odyssey and does the same type of driving and hasnt replaced them yet at 63,000 miles so it must be the Accord. The radio in my car is pretty bad. I have to turn the bass all the way down or the factory bass tube sounds blown. The regular speakers go in and out and sound staticy some times even on local stations. If it wasnt for the the look of this car I would completely hate it....read morehide

I'm very happy that my parents bought me this car for my 16th birthday. I was hoping to get a Honda Civic, but I don't regret driving this car off the lot. The engine is very quiet and the GPS is very accurate. The only problem I have with this car is that it can be a little bumpy on rough roads. Overall, this car is a pretty decent!...read morehide

My prior car was an Acura and I looked at the new Acuras before settling on the Accord EX-L V6 with a 6-speed manual. I find the styling of the Accord Coupe to be more attractive, sporty, stylish and sexy than anything in the current Acura lineup. I also find the fit and finish, both inside and out, as well as the interior features and quality of materials, to be luxurious and worthy of an Acura badge. In fact, I preferred it to the Acuras and that's why I bought it! Reliability of Honda/Acura is phenomenal, and I understand the cult following they have.
The chrome trim makes the car look beautiful and the 18 rims and sweeping lines on the profile make it look like a beast. It's gorgeous from any angle and wows in person even more than in pictures.
One of the challenges I had in shopping for a car was finding something that I really love overall (looks, power, prestige, reliability) that has a STICK! There aren't a lot of options out there when you want luxury features paired with your manual transmission and can't have RWD because you live in the Northeast. This car has a great value for the money. Also, despite having 271 hp and FWD, there is no torque steer at all and it handles curves beautifully. 0-60 time is about 5.5 seconds. The clutch has a bit of a long way to go all the way down, but I only felt that way about it the first couple of days - it's always an adjustment from one car to the next. Now it feels perfect. The short throw shift lever felt precise and smooth with a satisfying feel right from the 1st second.
Also, this car uses 87 octane.
The car has an ipod jack, xm radio, very supportive and comfortable seats that are also heated, moon roof, dual zone climate control, etc. Can't beat it for this price and level of reliability.
I absolutely recommend it....read morehide

This is my 3rd Accord, far most, the best. When I started looking for a new car I decide to try others. I wanted a sportier car so I test drove the Porsche Cayman and the Nissan's Z Cars several times. I decided to go back to my Honda Dealer where they showed me the new Honda Accord Coupe. This car shocked me. The Cayman nor the Z car could not compare to the Accord. This car handles very well on the road, has great power, comfortable, great accessories, all with a great price. I am so happy with my decision....read morehide
