The lease just ran out in our 06 TL. We went with the Honda V6 over the TL this time, $100 mo. less expensive we payed $350/36 with 2K down, 12k instead of 10k mi. The drive trane seems as good as TL. The handling in the TL was more responsive, maybe a little to stickey for our liking. Leather and plastic was much better in TL, however the Honda is not bad. Dual exhaust finish in TL much better. I drove the 190hp EX 4 banger. It was adaquate, however I couldn't stomach the down grade, and the 177 HP version was out of the question. In Mt. Kisco New York the Acura and Honda dealer are next to each other. The service tech stated for every car Acura sells Honda sells 20. The wife stated the noise on the highway with the Honda was louder, I guess you get what you pay for....read morehide

I like the cokpit in the Accord. Makes you feel pretty settle and in contrrol of the view. I like how it handles the road at high speed and handles unexpected stops. The wheel is pretty good too, adds to the control of the car. The speed for this car havs to be controlled, otherwise it could fly. The fact that the accord only has to be serviced every 7K, makes it very convinient just to stop at the Honda ealer for the service. Takes about 45min.+ for the service, depending on the day. I have had this car for 3 days and we have gone where we would never had gone before, 2 days of road trips.. Love the navagation unit. Handles very well on the road, hugs the curves well. Love the interior leather. Air conditioning is good. Pick up speed is good for a 4 cyclinder. I love how all the windows can be rolled down at once to air out the heat. I love that I can answer my phone through the car and it downloaded my whole cell phone, phonebook with one touch.Awesome. Can you imagine inputting all those numbers It was very easy to learn all the knobs and functions of this car..I love this car. Can't wait to go out again....read morehide

We had already made up our minds that we liked the Toyota, but when we started looking at the Accord we didn't even go back to the Toyota dealer. Very loud interior, sounds like there is an open window. Factory brakes not very good. Interior comfort not the best. Gas mileage less then what I expected with having a ECO setting. Will probably look at another manufacturer when I buy a new car.

After having several Accords in the past, I really wanted to like this one. However, this car has been a huge disappointment. It fails to even have the basic features you would find on a cheaper car such as a dashboard thermometer. It is a bland, ugly car inside and out. There are cheaper cars that are much more exciting than this one. Inside you will find huge, pointless buttons all over the dash that lead to an archaic display screen. The cloth material on the seats may be comfortable, but it is impossible to clean and everything sticks to it. This is no longer a younger persons car, it is more like an old Lincoln town-car you would see an older person drive. On the highway the Accords bulky, but weak engine struggles to drone past the 4000rpm mark and vibrates rapidly due to the wind bouncing off the un-aerodynamic body. For there price you pay there are many more exciting cars on the market such as the Mazda 6. I don't know what Honda was thinking when they redesigned this car. I cant wait to get rid of it....read morehide

After reading many reviews, I must agree with those who have written about excessive road noise which is very disappointing since the rest of the car performs well. Recent 600 mile round trip averaged 32mpg-4cyl performed well on the highway. Car has better hip, shoulder, head and leg room than most in its class. At 6' 2 and 265 lbs I do not feel squeezed. Seats are firm, but that works for me. My wife is an average size women who has no problems with the passenger side seating...read morehide

The accord is an awesome car! It has a nice smooth ride. The trunk has lots of room. The Accord makes driving fun. Best of all it's a Honda, so I never have to worry about the quality. The Accord is far higher quality than any American car!!
