the EX model is probably the best value with the 190 HP engine. not sure why folks are complaining about gas mileage - overall gas mileage is 25 with a 60% hwy and 40% city mix. This is after 500 miles, and I suspect it will get better. Build quality is nice, and its pseudo luxurious - but remember its a HONDA not a BMW or Mercedes....read morehide

Even for the "base" 4 cylinder model, it has a lot of nice features, it's a very quiet comfortable ride. I am very happy with it so far!

After having several Accords in the past, I really wanted to like this one. However, this car has been a huge disappointment. It fails to even have the basic features you would find on a cheaper car such as a dashboard thermometer. It is a bland, ugly car inside and out. There are cheaper cars that are much more exciting than this one. Inside you will find huge, pointless buttons all over the dash that lead to an archaic display screen. The cloth material on the seats may be comfortable, but it is impossible to clean and everything sticks to it. This is no longer a younger persons car, it is more like an old Lincoln town-car you would see an older person drive. On the highway the Accords bulky, but weak engine struggles to drone past the 4000rpm mark and vibrates rapidly due to the wind bouncing off the un-aerodynamic body. For there price you pay there are many more exciting cars on the market such as the Mazda 6. I don't know what Honda was thinking when they redesigned this car. I cant wait to get rid of it....read morehide

I have had this car for almost 2 months, and everything is fantastic. This is my 3rd new Accord, and similar to all of them, it is so much fun to drive - this one is the really the best of them all. My family and I like the extra interior room, and the fuel economy is superb. I also love the exterior design - it is truly a work of art....read morehide

I'm glad I purchased this car. The money I save on gas pays over half of the car payment. As an added feature it has a high resale value so I may get a good portion of my money back. The gas mileage is higher than advertised for me. Driving to Las Vegas at 85/92 mph (yes they drive that fast) I averaged 30.1 mpg. I usually get combined mpg at 27.5 low and 29.6 high. Slow of the stop was the answer and drive any way you like after that. It handles extremely well and the brakes have saved me a few times already. Rides a bit rough but I'll take that for the handling. It is a bit noisy but I put 20" custom wheels on with low profile tires so some of that is my fault. The plastic mars easily and I hate that. It needs a bit more HP. It's everything it can do to go 120 MPH on the flats, tops....read morehide

The Honda Accord is a wonderful vehicle. Excellent performance on the streets of Brooklyn, New York. I cant wait to test it on a long distance road trip. I should have purchased it before my 2007 Toyota Camry

I've owned three other Accords and this one is by far the best. The handeling is awsome. During acceleration the engine pulls hard and the at 3000 rpm the power boost from the VETC cam change is like a turbocharger kicked in. Currently this is the highest hp rating for this engine that doesn't require preimum gas. But by far the favorite feature of the Accord is the fob that allows you to roll down the windows on the way to the hot car in the summer heat! That is the reason my wife would not buy any other car!
I have gotten 22 mpg overall and 30 mpg while highway driving. This lower milage is due to the larger car than previous Accords (25 city 34 hwy). If mpg is the most important thing then look at the lighter weight Nissan Altima or Civic. Or pay the premium to get a big heavy expensive battery with high voltage lines running through the car when you get your hybrid....read morehide

We own a 2006 and a 2009 Honda Accord. The new Accord handles a bit better than the 2006 Accord. It has a bit more power with the 190 hp 4 cylinder than the 2006 4 cylinder 166 hp. The new model handles more crisply than the older Accord and it seems to have an intuitive feel for what the driver wants it to do. The new Accord is also a more comfortable car to ride in than the older Accord. Just prior to owning the 2006 and 2009 Accords, our household auto fleet consisted of a 2003 Nissan Altima and a 2003 Mazda 6. We like both of the Accords a lot better than the older Altima and Mazda models. All of the cars recently owned were 4 cylinder AT cars. The Accords both give us better power, handlng and gas mileage than the older Altima and Mazda. The new Accord gives us a bit less gas mileage than the 2006 model, but it is a somewhat bigger car. The 2009 Honda Accord is a fine car with great handling, looks and comfort....read morehide

I own a 2008 EX (full option) with leather seats... i rarely find time to use it. Till i bought another vehicle for company use, i never understood the beauty and comfort of my new accord. Later whenever i feel that i have some time and mood to go around, i used to first give it a wash and then take my white pearl beauty to the road. Its really comfortable especially the leather seats.
about the pick-up, initial pick-up is poor, but once it is in the second or third gear (auto) its really fast. I have taken to max 206 speed. It also depends on the dealers service. The service by Qatar's Dealer M/s. Domesco is quite good and satisfies the customers by quick services.
One of the other feature i like in the car is the 6 cd changer with pioneer speakers. As i had a lancer evolution before, i had great sound system in it. So when i used to sit in accord i used to feel like the sound system is not that great... but later after several use i found that the sound system is perfect and great.
Totally, i love the car, very spacious interiors far better than all other competitors like camry. The dashboard really is wide and beautiful with the control and displays well in place. the trunk space is more than enough.
I would recommend everyone to buy HONDA ACCORD EX - AUTO......read morehide
