After reading many reviews, I must agree with those who have written about excessive road noise which is very disappointing since the rest of the car performs well. Recent 600 mile round trip averaged 32mpg-4cyl performed well on the highway. Car has better hip, shoulder, head and leg room than most in its class. At 6' 2 and 265 lbs I do not feel squeezed. Seats are firm, but that works for me. My wife is an average size women who has no problems with the passenger side seating...read morehide

Got mine almost two weeks ago and after1400miles allready,no surprises, everythingh works as it should,no complains about the seat witch has a lumbar support as others mentioned, seat is firm if you don;t like the leather to sag during time of onership as the bimmers do,ride is firm car has VSC and EBD with ABS at all four corners multilink suspension on rear and MC Pherson at front with honda trademark double wishbone suspension independent at all corners, good peppy engine i got the 4cyl I-Vtec 2,4l 190 hp ,168 pds/foot tq and it delivers over 30-32 mpg at 65-70 mph as i tested due to my long work commute of 105 miles/day wich may improove after break in period.I recomend this car to any one who is looking for a midsize comfortable sedan , dependable and reliable with a good fuel economy on regular 87 fuel and don"t whant to go hybrid yet .About road noise as others complaining it's there due to the tires chosen by honda who choose michelin Mxv4 M&S but it's fairly muffled and the engine smoothness is great for a 4 cyl car....read morehide

I've had this car for a week now and I do like it. I've not had a problem with the drivers seat being too hard as some reviewers have. In fact, it fits me almost perfectly and it's comfortable. The ride quality is decent, but on some bumps it's a little harsh. Many reviewers complained about the road noise. It is present, but I don't find it to be at all annoying. The ride quality and road noise are not bad at all, I just thought in a car like this they would be better. It's competition is marginally better. Voice recognition controls navigation, climate control and the radio/CD player. In addition the Bluetooth system for voice dialing of your Bluetooth phone. There are MANY verbal commands that it recognizes. In fact, most people won't memorize all of the commands. One thing I thought strange is you can control virtually everything this car does with voice recognition, but you cannot turn the radio volume up/down with it. Not a nit, just an observation. A couple of nits I do have is the location of the auxilliary jack. It's in the bottom of the center console under a removable tray. Who designed this??? To plug in your MP3 player you have to open the center console, lift out this tray, lift up on the spring loaded cover to the aux port and plug in your device. To make this even more difficult the cover has to be held open until the device is plugged in otherwise it closes on you automatically. Almost a two handed operation. Just don't plan to plug in your MP3 player safely when you're driving. This aux jack should have been on the center dash console for a straight plug in. It's only a 3.5mm jack so it would not detract from the dash's appearance. Another nit is the odometer. The outside temperature display is in the same place. You can toggle between trip meter A, B, the odometer and percent of oil life left since the last oil change. The cars odometer cannot be displayed at the same time the outside temperature is being displayed. The temperature can only be displayed while trip meter A or B is being displayed. If you want to have your odometer displayed, you won't have the temperature displayed. The interior is definately spacious. There is ample legroom for everyone but the person sitting in the center of the back seat. Another nit is the backseat isn't a 60/40 split. The entire backseat folds down. If you need to fold down the backseat, you can't carry a backseat passenger. The stereo sounds good, and it has a separate subwoofer installed. I found the stereo and climate controls were laid out nicely on the dash. If you want you can voice control almost everything that has a switch or button. The navigation works well. The POI can be a little cumbersome to use. For example I wanted to locate the Walmart in the database that is 5 miles from my house. When looking it up by name, it returned different catagories of Walmarts (supercenter, grocery, regional offices, etc). The store by me was imbedded deep within the multiple folders I had to scroll through. Often times when getting a specific response about a location I received locations that were 1000 miles away only to have to go hunting in the responses to find the one I knew I wanted. Like I said, a little cumbersome. Overall I LIKE this car. It isn't perfect, but no car is. I will be driving this car for a number of years in the future and I'm totally good with that!...read morehide

I easily get 31 to 34mpg on the highway, and I do mostly highway miles. Bought this 09 accord in oct 2008, like most Hondas, you can count on the major power parts to work but when it comes to ride comfort and interior noise (plastic parts rattle) this is a typical Honda. I also own a 2004 civic (bought new, literally never had to visit the dealership for any problems since i got it has 100k miles on it) If you like reliability and can deal with little teasers then buy it. For the price though(leather/Nav/etc), I will def. look at Maxima next time before I commit to another accord....read morehide

I am sorry to say, after owning several Hondas this is a let down for the price. You are attracted by the brand and looks for sure. But, I regret to say, for the price, this is a no. My wife is 29 and I am 31 and we really think the seating and comfort has diminished considerably in the new Accord. If you can rent one, try that to be sure of comfort and because the gas mileage isn't great either. 15 -20% less than stated should be expected, one reviewer said? I don't think so. Not for this price, plus the comfort issues, and oh yes, it's noisy on the road. My wife also thinks the car is bit of a "lumbering hulk" as she puts it. She liked our last Accord. Not this one. With this economy, we wish we had looked elsewhere....read morehide
