I like the cokpit in the Accord. Makes you feel pretty settle and in contrrol of the view. I like how it handles the road at high speed and handles unexpected stops. The wheel is pretty good too, adds to the control of the car. The speed for this car havs to be controlled, otherwise it could fly. The fact that the accord only has to be serviced every 7K, makes it very convinient just to stop at the Honda ealer for the service. Takes about 45min.+ for the service, depending on the day. During the week is better....read morehide

We started out to buy a Toyota but thought we should take a look at Honda just to make sure we were doing the right thing. We had already made up our minds that we liked the Toyota, but when we started looking at the Accord we didn't even go back to the Toyota dealer. If you haven't driven the new Accord, you should give it a try....read morehide

I ve had this car for 2 months now, the steering wheel was vibrating a bit on high speed but that was gone after first 1000 km service , and then i had a cd player problem which magically got fixed by itself the moment i entered the dealers shop and never happened again!!!!!!! other than that i think its a good car for me, i like how it looks like....read morehide

FIRST I WOULD SAY THE BAD THINGS DRIVER SEAT IS TOTALLY UNCOMFORTABLE MAKE SURE THE BUY IF YOU BUY IT LX-P THAT HAS POWER SEAT, IN HIGHWAY VERY LOUD ROAD NOICE, MPG IS QUIET BAD FOR HONDA BARELY 19 MILES PER GALLON IN STREETS EASY DRIVING. NOW THE GOD THINGS , BACK SEATS ARE LARGE EVEN FOR MY DAD ( 280 LB 5.10), STEREO IS DECENT , RESALE VALUE IS AWSOME, AND OF COURS IT NEVER HAS ANY PROBLEMS AS FAR AS I HAVE 4000 MILES, BUT I WILL NOT ADVISE TO BUY ONE GET A HUNDAI SONATA BETTER VALUE ,...read morehide

I recently purchased my accord, and I am very satisfied. After reading many reviews not only on yahoo, but several internet sites I was not convinced about the bashing, so I went to a dealership and test drove the car myself (Always the key). I enjoy the drivers seat, I hated when my back would sink in, in previous cars I purchased. I recently added tint to my car, which should also help with your MPG. (the less aircon being used the better mileage) on any car. 177hp is enough power to do a flyby on the highway against a car that is going too slow....read morehide

This car at first glance is stylish and really attracts the eye. Once you are inside the car it is easy to unintentionally begin speeding because of how smooth the car drives. The dash is easy to read and though there is an assortment of dials to control the radio most functions can be handle through the controls on the steering wheel. That being said the only downside to the LX is that it is really basic. There are cheap plastic covers over the rims and the seating material is a bright tan cloth that is easily stain so it is not a car for little kids to ride in. When it is all said and done it is an enjoyable car but if you have the money you might want to upgrade to the LX-P...read morehide

To keep it short, for the money we are less than pleased with the current Accord. Road noise is loud for a car of this price. This car looks substantial, but feels kind of big and lumbering when driving. The seating is uncomfortable for longer drives. Feels ok at first. We thought the interior is cheaper and the 4 cylinder engine less powerful than Saab 9-3, Mazda 6, Chevrolet Malibu, and Saturn Aura we also drove. Maybe the 6 is ok, but we wanted higher mpg. That , however, also isn't what it should be. 18 to 22 for us in suburban driving.
We liked out previous Accords and a Civic we had. We even thought about buying a Civic but too small for us and it looked pretty cheap....read morehide

After owning several Accords, I had high expectations for this newest model. The sticker on my car was $22225 and it had the base 177 HP engine and 5 speed automatic. Exterior styling on this new model is rather plain like a BMW. The wheels are cheap plastic hubcaps and Honda followed the herd by omitting the protective bodyside molding that wards off door dings and dresses up the exterior. I was told that Honda just released the moldings as a dealer installed option so I may pay the extra $200.00 to get them at some point. The interior is a mixed bag. Some parts are high quality and others are slipshod. The dash is not very well though out with too many buttons and the strange looking knob in the center. The guages are easy to read however. The front drivers seat is rather hard and grows uncomfortable on long trips unlike my previous Accords. Road noise is prominent at mid to higher speeds which takes away some of the quality feel of this car. On the flip side, interior room is generous and the trunk is bigger than before. Rear seat passengers find plenty of room, cup holders and fold down armrest. The ride is sometimes rough but handling is sound and much better than the Camry I took out for a test drive right before I purchased this car. The base 177 HP 4 cylinder performs well enough but grows a little growly on hills and high RPM. I was also dismayed to find out that my car with automatic was rated 2 less than the Hyundai Sonota and 3 less than the Chevy Malibu and Saturn Aura on the highway MPG!...read morehide
