I have had my Civic EX for a year and a half and it has been a great car. I have averaged 37 mpg overall doing mostly highway driving. My only complaints are the road noise which can drown out the stereo at times and the lack of engine power during acceleration. Still, this is an economy car so sacrificing some power for fuel economy is expected.
I love the dash layout with the speedometer just below the windshield. The trunk is huge for such a small car and the interior has lots of storage bins.
