Best car ever. I drive Nearly 3 hours each day to commute. This is the cheapest car ever to drive. I have two places close to my house to fuel. My favorite place to fuel is the city bus yard.
This car is fast. I have 3 speeding tickets to prove it. Thank god for cruise control. I paid 30,000 for my car with a 4,000 tax rebate. This is the sweetest drive ever. Most people dont believe me when i say how cheap it is.
When I take it out on longer drives I use a list of fueling staions and my gps to find fuel. The pumps are a little different, but even my twelve year old can fuel the car. The money saved on gas helps with the car payment. The car is also eligible for a carpool lane sticker. This is a great thing if i need to drive in bay area or Socal. From all of my research on this car it seems to hold value. These cars are very popular in utah because the natural gas is VERY cheap there.
I really can't think of one bad thing to say about my NGV. i DON'T KNOW WHY MORE PEOPLE AREN'T DRIVING THEM. THIS IS THE GREEN CAR OF THE FUTURE. My teenage son even pointed out to me that you can put your face up near the exhaust and breathe it in with no exhaust smell whatsoever. It smells like plain warm air. CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...read morehide

Bought this car new in Oct of 2008. Got a federal refund of 4K and a California refund of 3K knocking the price of this car really down!!
The NGV has many positives, 10K mile oil changes, Natural gas can be purchased through fast fill at 30-60% less than regular gasoline. You can even plug the thing in your water heater gas line to pump the natural gas in the car.. Making the cost to fuel even more cheaper. If you can stand the small seats, the car drives great. I commute 1.5 hours back and forth from work and love the car. No problems yet.....read morehide

This is my 4th Civic and the 2008-2009 models are cars up to the high standard set in previous years. I highly recommend the 09 Civic for reliability, fit and finish, and safety. The engine performance is a perfect balance between fuel economy and get up and go. When you punch the pedal there is more than enough power to get out front of traffic while the fuel economy is excellent. I get at least 5.1 to 5.3 liters per 100 kms which translates to 50+ Mpg. Hard to beat in todays car market. My only complaint is; please move the hand brake, it ruins the drivers comfort zone by poking into your right leg. Not all drivers will experience the same problem as the hand brake only seems to affect taller people. My wife has no problem with the hand brake position at all. Anyway - well done Honda! This is one great car and the price makes the best deal in the auto-market today....read morehide
