Very happy with my Hybrid, and my dealer Cardinal Honda in Groton CT.
I feel this car will start up every time and get me there with good fuel consumption.

I purchased my Civic Hybrid new in 08. I now have close to 18000 miles on it having driven it to Arizona and back. I could not be more pleased with this car. I will most likely stay with Honda in the future. Already have my eye on the new Insight.

My 2008 Honda Civic is, to date, the best car I have ever owned. My last car was a Chevy Cobalt that I really liked and was averaging around 30 mpg. My Honda give me consistently 48 mpg in local travel. I took it over the road only once and averaged 60 mpg.
I am so glad I bought one with the satellite radio and navigation system. I looked at the Prius but did not like the hatchback. I like the more secure enclosed trunk. Overall, the Honda is exceptional and I receive many complements on the styling. It is silver with blue interior....read morehide

fuel economy is less than expected

I've had this car for 2 weeks now and have driven it for only 200 miles. Overall, I've to say I like the ride and feel of the car. However, the fuel economy is less than what I expected. I don't drive it hard. If anything, I'd have to say I handle it pretty gingerly. I'm getting about 35 mpg combined - which is a lot less than the 42 advertised, especially since I go pretty easy on the gas petal. What's going on? Does it just need some break-in time? I recently purchased an 08 Civic hybrid. I have been extremely happy with this car so far. It rides and handles well. It looks good. The navagation system is easy to operate.
