I don't understand how people get such low mileage. I've never had less than 37mpg (usually between 40-43) and I've not been honked at and I do pass people on the highway and I live in the mountains. I do feel like I have to abuse the clutch somewhat if I need to take off from a standstill very quickly. Moderate starts are smooth. I do miss variable intermittent wipers at this trim level and a little more lumbar support would be appreciated. With as much driving as I do ( 30K/yr.), reliability was the #1 criterion, but the other attributes of this car make me happy about the choice....read morehide

Just about perfect, plenty of power, slick shifter, clutch and a very good handling and ride compromise. It handles and rides almost as well as my 5 spd. 2008 Accord LX.It even has LESS road noise then the Accord! Mileage is about 33 mpg so far,far,BUT...........
The radio is lame. The sound quality on FM is barely tolerable and AM stations sound like they are under water. I would guess it is the speakers not the radio? Also, reception is poor on both bands. It almost ruins a perfect car.The radio in the Accord sounds 10X's better and that's not saying much.....
Other things Honda cheaped out on like the absence of a remote trunk lid release(dealer installed?) and the one speed intermittent wiper.(?)
Still, this is an economy car and for the price I paid at $16,500, these minor quirks can be over looked because of the basic goodness of the car itself and its great reliability in future years to come.........read morehide

Worst car ever!!! Don't buy Manual trans if car is has thottle by wire it has huge delay. I know that engine will burn oil at high rpm but this thing burn at rate of 1qt oil at 900 miles. I check oil at every other fill up and i have to add oil all the time. I now use 30 weight and still burns (Factory call for 20 weight). For all you tech. This engine pings (preignition) as it trys to maximize power and fuel. I put 91 octane but still pings. Dealer can not retard timing becuase everything is ecm control. At higher speed 75+ it gets very hard to stay in lane, it's more sensitive than my S2000, burn more oil than my S2000. This is my last Acura or Honda. Over 20 years i have own over 6 Hondas and Acuras and this is lemon yet they will not buy back nor able to fix. I have less than 12k miles....read morehide
