SWEET! This car rocks! I had a 92 Nissan 300zx and this Civic is better by far! I love driving fast and still being comfortable on my day to day drives and this car can handle the double duties. Long trips are blast; the high rev engine just shines on the freeway. When it comes to the city the low torque does show its flaw but it?s easy to ignore once you?re at 6k RPM. The navigation is amazing! Not one flaw so far.
Over all as a guy that has driven 240sx, mustangs and z cars, I am very happy with my first Honda...and it helps a lot that it?s a CIVIC SI!...read morehide

The Civic Si is by far one of the best high performance vehicles you can get with maximum utility (especially when you get the sedan).
The ample amount of horsepower and the really smooth 6-speed manual transmission make this machine absolute fun to drive. The torque is on the low end at a meager 134 lb-ft but then the high-rev engine compensates for it. The interior ergonomics are a total pleasure to the eyes and comfortable to the driver and passengers in terms of leg room and head room....read morehide

I was very impressed with this car once I took it from the dealer. Everything was engineered so well and built solid. I've driven pretty hard with this car for the last 8 months, and it has been such a good time. This car can handle the corners! Just push through the turns and the seats hug you like it was an intimate lover. Once you hit 6k RPMs, you feel and hear the need to shift, but you still have 2k more to go, and that 2k, when it kicks in, will have you grinning from ear to ear. If you're going to get a Civic, definitely aim for the Si. The interior is simple, and yet has all the technological goodies you could ever want. USB connector for your IPod, and a 350W system let's you pump out beats stock!
If you're also into doing some aftermarket things to the car, Hondas have the biggest variety for these things. Customizability is amazing for Hondas. Even stock, it comes with so many things you can change to what you want your car to be. Don't think twice. Test drive one, and then enjoy....read morehide

I purchased this car in mid April. Coming out of a 2005 Toyota MR2, I feel like I'm in a Lexus. My girlfriend and I are both really happy with this car. She has the trunk space she needs. We have the versatility to carry 4 in a pinch. And I have the handling and acceleration that makes this car a pleasure to drive. I'm into good music and the sound system is great. The car is fun to drive, has a nice, smooth 6 speed MT, handles well. However, takes some getting used to coming from the smaller car when making turns. Recently, ran into the curb, (ouch) while making a right turn in San Francisco. On a recent trip to LA, averaged 34 mpg, better then the MR2. I love the styling and the redline orange pearl is a head turner. There are more expensive and more powerful cars out there, but for the $, I think it's a great value....read morehide

over all, i have found little reasons just to drive places. its a fun drive. it takes 91 octane, so be ready to feel it at the pump. but.....its so worth it. might be slow on the take off, but going down the highway, you can really punch it and watch the other cars just drift away behind you like a silky dream. the car grips down on curves like noones business. stepping into this car is like slipping on a glove. im 5'9. this is a sweet ride!!!...read morehide

I love this car, it handles great, easy to drive, good on gas, fast whenever you want it to be and slow when you want it to be .For a 4 cylinder 2liter its very quick, producing near 100hp a liter. It revs very high past the 8000mark and sounds sooooo good, so you enjoy revving it everytime. If you have a torquey car now this might feel a little weak, but once you learn to drive it the way your suppose to its veryyy quick, especially on the freeway.I have no complaints what so everrr. Navigation system is better than those on a audi, porsche, mercedes ect... it has voice recognition, bluetooth, and easy to use. Summer tires grip greatt!!! For the price this car is the bestttt!!! Funn to driveee. If you are a fast driver you will get plenty of tickets because the car is a very tempting car to drive fast....read morehide

Overall this is an excellent toy for me. But not a road trip car even though with the amazing sound system you forget about all the Cons. This is definitely a sports car, and must be used as a sports car to enjoy it. Then you won't look for anything else. I love the 10--40 mi acceleration. In the city, that's what you will enjoy most. Seats are very sporty but they lack lumber support which becomes a problem later on. If you are thinking about buying this car, test drive well. Make sure that's what you want is a sporty, fun car but not a corolla. I drove bimmers and etc.. but I am not comparing SI to M3s or etc... for the money this is an excellent car, but inner quality could be improved....read morehide

We replaced our 16 year old civic with the Si. My husband drives a BMW, but we certainly could not afford another one. One test drive is all I needed to make my decision.
The clutch is as smooth as butter. The handling is great. I have a lot of fun driving this car.
Reliability has been excellent....read morehide
