Write a ReviewI like this car. There is no doubt about Honda's, overall, quality. The price gouging, going on, in the Portland, OR area is a crime! If Honda doesn't reign in their dealers ethics, I will never buy another Honda.
You can get another car, in this class, for thousands less. I should have bought a Yaris. My wife did....read morehide

I bought this car below MSRP, Auto base since I was looking for the high MPG car to around the city and did not want to spend fortune on so called hybrids and glad that I did. fit is showing 42.5 MPG on the panel and when I calculated with my own match it comes around 34.5 MPG in city driving (mostly stopNgo) and 42 MPG on highway driving at about 65 MPH which I find very amazing and pat on my back everytime I go to fill my tank - max I spent is $28 to fill up - who can beat that??? in the place where we have gas reaching $3.5/$4 a gallon. I have another lovely car BMW 528i and I find FIT has more space in it but the handling of a bimmer is no match...I love both of my car. But Bimmer is like a spoiled baby - needs a lot of $$$ every few months...But I have heard a lot about that Hondas like Robots -they run without asking too much (of course oil and gas) I wish and hope to put lots of city miles on my FIT.
Base model should come with Cruise and security/keyless entry. I miss those features but will add them once they are available....read morehide

I bought this car brand new and I love it! Most of my reason for purchasing it was because of the better fuel economy, but I am doing much better than the estimated MPG they give, thanks to the little display on the dash that lets me know based on my driving how many mpg I'm averaging! I hope it's honest with me, I've changed my driving habits because of it!
Not only that, but it's a beautiful car inside and out. Sporty, sexy (weird, eh?), and lots of cup-holders. Come on, when you have friends you drive to Taco Bell with, the overabundance of cup-holders is great!
It runs well, mostly quiet, wonderful stereo, well-lit dashboard, comfortable seats, roomier than I ever imagined, etc.
The only thing that bugs me is that the acceleration is so touchy. You definitely can't be a lead foot it in this little vehicle and expect to get 33 mpg out of it. I was excited when I read that the 2009s were going to have electronic stability control, but I found out that it only comes with the navigation system, which I find unfair. I'm also concerned about the wintertime, because this is a light car with front-wheel drive...I just can't be a speed-demon on the snow-paved road I guess!
Overall, though, very much worth it. I drive an hour to and from work 4 days a week, the savings in gas is awesome! Plus it's a car that turns heads:)...read morehide

I've had the fit for a little over 2 weeks and I love it. So fun to drive in SF with a great turning radius and small footprint. Though it's little on the outside, it feels big on the inside. My husband, who is 6'1" didn't fit comfortable in the 08' model, but is in love with the 09'. I would highly recommend this car!...read morehide

Sport version should have like 1.6 liter dohc 125hp with torque 117 compete with Mini coupe. Like handling, style, good looking. Would like to see more torque at least 7Lb.
