I have had 3 Ford trucks, 2 chevy trucks. I am a hunter, camper,rv'r,dirt bike rider and haul wood. First outing was for deer season. Hauled wood, my gear, 4-wheeler and a deer. In the woods 3 days, never missed a lick. Drives great, comfort, roomy. Plenty of power. Hang on when passing 3 to 4 gear, backed off at 80, pendal not even to the floor. Really pleased with the truck as a whole. Lot of guys dogging it but I'm right there in the woods with them. Hugs them windy roads also. Chain saw goes in the trunk and is locked up when away. I'm having to much fun with this one. I haul two dirt bike also. Bought the bed extender. It's getting some looks. I guess I just still use it as a pickup truck. Something to say now-a-days. Most guys put a cover over there truck bed and want it for the good look imagine. My only test is pulling our small rv(3100lbs). Says it will tow 5000. Honda recommends a sway bar only, no weight distribution bars. Fine with me. So,,I am enjoying my new truck, car truck, suv...Whatever you want to call it. Check it out....read morehide

Really love the truck. Not a great looker but hey not everyone looks like a super model. Great ride and handles well. Quiet and has all the amenities except the lack of a telscoping steering wheel. That is anoying. At that price there should have been one. Also the clock is located on the radio and is a dull grey. it is hard to see. They should have had it where the temperature listing is. There are so many ways to change the radios stations and volume it could get confusing. I am averaging about 17 miles per and I don't drive real fast. The truck should get better mileage since the power is good but now that good that you would sacrifice that much mileage....read morehide

I just bought my 2009 Ridgeline and I love it. I've been getting a little better than rated fuel economy - but I'm not a speeder and the roads here are pretty flat. Honda has thought about just about everything for this truck and it's the ultimate compromise vehicle. I shopped hard for a crew cab, 4x4 and could not find a similar vehicle for the price. The Ridgeline is mostly a front wheel drive vehicle which is good on the snow where I live. I love the trunk where I can keep my smelly soccer gear instead of getting it wet in the bed or in the cab. The bed comes pre-sprayed. The dual air conditioning controls on this vehicle sold my wife. Yes, there are bigger (v8), longer, RWD vehicles that tow more - this one comes standard with 5000lb towing and a class 3 hitch. But if you don't like playing mix and match with features, this is a great truck - and it's built in Alabama too!...read morehide

I had a 2006 and traded in for a 2009. Love this truck can't imagine having any other. My husband loves it too. Great ride for long distance with plenty of room. Love the trunk space, especially in the rain! New one has the navi with Hands free Bluetooth...what a great addition to an already great truck. So quiet my husband is always asking if its running!...read morehide

Bought in 2005 as 2006 model. Had wheels chromed and did some subtle pinstriping, but was enough to set it apart especially with the black paint gleaming. The truck is by no means heavy duty, however it was not meant to be. It does everything you want that class of vehicle to do and more. The utility and versatility are unbeatable. It retains it's value. I am still making payments but it is worth far more than I owe and after decades of buying new cars, it is the first new vehicle that I will completely pay off and keep. My only complaint is something Honda's have been known for which is decent power and performance in their class, but there is lack of low end torque. Being a heavier vehicle and especially a truck, it leaves a little to be desired....read morehide

I purchased the 2006 model and I've been hit 5 times. Twice rear ended, once by a deer, backed into my a neighbor and most recently side swiped. I've had all but the driver side door replaced and with all of that my truck still purrs. 75k worth of milage and now I'm face with trading it in for another ridgeline. I've had ford's, mazda's and gmc but nothing has come even close to the Ridgeline. Hoda did a good thing here!...read morehide

Mine is a 2006 with over 43K miles. Ride is much better than my previous 2003 Tac..... It feels secure and solid and is well built. No rattles or noises. I like the security features of the RTS and even the ignition/door locks are a high security type.

I am really enjoying my Ridgeline, It is a blast to drive-I have pushed it hard off-road and in snowy conditions, It handles most of these conditions as is but could use more power and clearance. I have so liked it that come the end of my lease, I will be looking at another. If you do not need a big truck for hauling a really heavy loads, all the time, the 5k towing is sufficient for most of my needs.I have hualed 1200 lbs of flooring into the Utah mountains in snow and up a muddy dirt/snow ladden road and it performed like a goat.I have spent timeon roads in this area that were covered by 4" of snow/ice and the drive system just plows along. My off-roading has consisted of bombing thru desert roads here in Southern Nevada and Utah and it has handled it all. You just have to be a little cautious of the clearance, otherwise a lot of fun to drive.I hope Honda does more to improve this great vehicle. I am also considering buying this one out and then doing some off-road modifications, like ride hight, skid plates and performance mods....read morehide

i bought my Ridgeline RTLw/Nav in 2006 and have never regretted it. It's ride is superior. I have over 60K miles and other than routine maintenance have NEVER had a problem. This is more than I can say for any US car ever owned!!!!! It's quite and I love to drive it.
