I have the 03 and i must say it is truly amazing. First safety, I have seen plenty of s2000's flipped over and I have never seen the windshield bend more than a few inches, Breaks are good, car stops on a dime. I love having 9000 rpms to play with and you can feel power band kick in. only probs i have is tires are expensive which you can already expect, cost me a grand every year, and the battery is small, it left me stranded a few times so if you buy one change it.
if you cant afford a new one get an older model, I have seen them for half the price and there is not any difference in body style except for rims and bumper, so your not going to out-shined by newer s2000's , i love my 03 and never thought about getting a new one.
