I looked at several convertibles before I test drove the s2000. It is a trill to drive, in fact it is my day to day car and I put over 35,000 miles last year. It looks better than the Mazda, Crossfire, or the Z ( in my opinion) plus not many women drive the s2000, whereas you will spot many chicks in those cars.
The Six Speed Manual is great, the first four gears make the car fun, and the last two give great gas mileage on the freeway. You feel a part of the road with s2000, plus you can wave to all your fellow s2000 owners as you pass by.
I will let any prospective owner to realize that she can be high maintenance, literally. Expect to change the rear tires often (15-20k miles) and more common oil changes. But it is worth it to spoil the one you love!
