This is my first "foreign" car purchase, I traded in a much-beloved, long-used 1996 Chevy Blazer for it. Best decision I ever made, although my payments are a bit high. I got this as a used vehicle, it was a demo with 8,800 miles on it. Feels like it's brand new. I love the fact that I've got room to get in & the pedals are right there, even with the seat all the way back. I'm a big gal, & not many vehicles can accomodate my extra size. This one is perfect for me. I love the way everything lights up at night, the way the tailgate door lifts up out of the way, just about everything about this vehicle delights me. I'm finding something different all the time that makes me love it more. I haven't had a chance to test it during the winter, but I'm looking forward to seeing if it performs as well as the Blazer did. But, if you want a comfortable SUV with super gas mileage, this is the one I would highly recommend....read morehide

we took this car up to 12200+ feet in the Colorado mountains , We were caught in a sudden heavy storm ,thunder ,lighting, hail, blinding rain, 40 mile per hour winds with higher gusts. heating system and AC , windshield wiper were excellent

I rented one of these and drove it from Lincoln Ne. to Salt Lake City Ut. It averaged 23 mpg @ 75 mph. It had a very comfortable ride & handled nicely. better than average sound system for the standard stereo. lots of leg room and I had a good clear veiw (no blind spots). I was able to sit comfortably in this car for the entire 12 hour trip. I was able to go about 350 mi. between fuel stops. I also liked the ground clearance & headroom, being 5'9" and 250 lbs it was easy to get in and out. The one I got had just over 30,000 miles on it and there was not the slightest rattle, squeek, or vibration. very smooth car. I have been shopping around for a crossover suv, the Hyundai Santa Fe is now my #1 choice, hands down and is definately going to be my next vehicle purchase! Oh, and it's easy on the eyes too!
For the price...this seems to pack the best bang for the buck!...read morehide

Just got this GLS 3.3 V6 242hp AWD for one week,really enjoy the ride in city and on high way,especially on the slippy icy road in Montreal,
compare to Honda's / Toyota's SUV which come with leather seat and power sun roof the price of SANTA FE GLS is much competitive,my wife like the quiet and luxurious interior with smooth driving ,easy handling, my daughter just got her driver license for three months but she can park this SUV easily and she like the sound system so much,...read morehide

Hi All,
I didn't buy this one or drive it, just found this site and wanted to add my review for Hyundi Santa Fe. I have a 2001 Hyubdai Santa Fe and I was in love with that car. Love it. Had great power off the get go and never had a problem with it. Seats were very comfortable and I love the trac gear system for manual or the clutchless 5 speed. Like I said Love it, Love it, Loved it. Would love to own another. When I can that will be the vehichle of choice whether I can afford a more expensive vehicle or not, it will always be a Hyundai santa Fe for me every time.
