Traded in a Chevy Equinox LT for new Santa Fe SE. I am so far very impressed by the overall value of the purchase. The seats are very comfortable, the engine is quiet, the interior quality seems good. Plenty of power for the size of the vehicle. The only thing I wish it had was a little more legroom in the back. It isn't lacking in room, it is just that my Equinox had a rear sliding seat, so it could be pushed back and I grew accustomed to that. I have a 2004 santa Fe V6, love it.. no problems, great !
On rear view mirror , I have set my garage door opener, so I don't use the one in hand.
I have the silver.. never shows the dirt, even when filthy! Still looks great .
It has a rear mirror windshield wipers, intermittent too. IT has indoor outdoor temp on dashboard. What more can I say...go & drive one!...read morehide

I bought my Santa Fe with SE pack 1, I wanted the larger engine, the fog lights, 18 inch wheels and for $900 dollars it was well spent. I love the ride of the SUV it is smooth, quiet and handles well. The gas mileage is good, I drove to the dealership in Houston and back to College Station; I got 22 miles a gallon that would have been better except for the Houston gridlock traffic. I highly recommend this vehicle it has a lot of space and you get a lot of features for the money. I highly recommend you get the larger engine because it allows you to tow and the acceleration is 10 times better. I have friends that have very nice cars such as BMW, Mercedez etc and they love the car....read morehide

I've had my Sante Fe for about 2 months and I just love it! The ride is nice and smooth, the seats are comfortable and it has all the features I was looking for. We just took it on a vacation and with the third row folded, we had more than enough room for all of our luggage. We've also tested out the third row being up and had two 6-7 year olds ride back there...worked great!

The only draw back is the mileage...it really doesn't do any better than the minivan I traded in...which surprises me. But it's definitely nicer, more comfortable and has a smoother ride than the minivan, so it's still a great upgrade!...read morehide

The room inside is more than adequat. My wife keep saying that looking at it from the outside you could never tell it has 3 rows seats.
Very satisfy with it. With 4 kids it is what we needed.

Bought new in March 2008. Sticker price was 25k + change. Got the car for $21,500 after $1,500 factory rebate. Have driven to Disney last summer from NYC without any problems. In fact I now have a little over 12K miles on this vehicle and have not had any problems at all. Have been back to the dealer only for routine maint.(oil changes).Smooth ride, good accel., quiet interior no road noise. Hyundai has come a long way from the only other one I ever owned, a 1986 Excel. Excellant value for your money. Would purchase again. I might even upgrade to a Genesis since the Sante Fe was so good....read morehide
