Have owned mine since 2006...mileage is 24 mpg combined. Very happy with it. Excellent pick up, stereo, cargo handling, no rattles. Just some road noise I hope they work on. But I have looked at the Toyota, and the Honda and was not impressed by the chinzy inside so I opted for the Tucson. Very good product all around, solid baby for the price....read morehide

I absolutley love our new 2009 Tucson! It totally Rocks and very affordable for a brand new SUV. I love the bluetooth and XM radio! It's a very smooth ride and nice and comfortable and roomy inside. I just wish the front passanger seat went down forward for more storage when the backseats are folded down. Other than that, no complaints at all with the Hyundai Tucson! I totally recommend it!...read morehide

I have a 2006, purchased new. I will be a Hyundai owner forever. This is an exceptional SUV for the size and money. The warranty is impressive and I understand why they have it. It never gets used. I have not had one problem in 3 years. I owned a super luxury prior to this and the Tucson beats it hands down in comfort, realiability, and an exceptionally smooth ride. Thank you Hyundai!!!...read morehide

I own a 2006 GLS 2.7 V6 4WD. No problems what so ever.Thiscar is great in snow. This car company should be rated number two or three in the nation. Very powerful. ONE GREAT CAR.

I?ve owned my 2005 Hyundai Tucson GLS V6 4WD for nearly 4 years and have put about 60K mi on it without any major issues. The thing goes great in rain, ice and snow; can carry a surprising amount of stuff even with 3 or 4 people in it; and has plenty of spunk with the V6 and get about 20 mpg in the combine type driving I do. It can do reasonable off road driving (trails/paths, fields, etc.); rides well on the highway, but it is susceptible to buffeting from high winds (price you pay for ground clearance in a little package).
The factory tires and battery both lasted about two years (~30K) which wasn?t great but unfortunately my experience with Asian tires and batteries says this is typical. This made the 30K scheduled maintenance check friendly with $1000 mark, (about $400 in tires and Wal-Mart battery). I did have a CD get stuck in the player once and the dealer replaced the radio and returned the CD with no hassle.
My will be going in for its 60K maintenance soon and I expect it to need brake pads, also have a few minor warranty items (body squeak, cap on the wiper arm and diver?s front door side weather stripping dry rot).
Over all it really is a nice vehicle for the price and I will absolutely consider replacing it, some day with another Tucson. The amazing thing is that it is still worth about 50% of what I paid for it. Maybe Government Motors should buy a few of these to see how a small SUV should be built!...read morehide

I've had my car for one year. It has performed very well the only two things I would change are the head rests in front they are unconfortable, and the low beam head lights are to dim.
