I've had my G37s for about a month and it met all my expectations for the best street sports car for the money. I would highly recommend this car to anyone look for a fast ride without giving up the luxury and still has a back seat. The head room can be a little tight, and gas milage my be an issue, but you won't complain if you stay off the gas....read morehide

Great car- had a G-35 coupe and this is better. V-6 is impressive but to get performance you definitely lose in the fuel economy end. I got better mileage in my 06 Corvette than this G-37. Wife loves having a back seat.

Bought G37s three weeks ago. it is great. actually pass my expectation of how quiet inside the car when you are pushing hard. sports seat is very comfortable. but there is almost to none headroom if you have sunroof. my hair touched the roof everyday. haven't really open it up yet, but tried 5k RPM little bit, fast for sure. love the style. smooth line. classy look...read morehide

I got my '09 G37x Coupe yesterday. This car replaced a '07 G35 Coupe. Driving it the past two days has been a pleasure. The interior finishes appear higher in quality than the previous G35 I owned. Some great things I have found includes the integrated media center for music, climate and telephone. I do not have navigation or technology packages, however the premium package far suffices for my needs.
In terms of power and performance, I couldn't be happier so far. The increased horsepower to 330 meets and exceeds my daily driving needs. I have found the ride quality to be smooth and fluid.
A few things I miss from my previous G35 Coupe is the overall sportiness. The front seat bolsters are not as deep (I do not have the S type coupe), and the exhaust note is more subdued. This is the trade off for a shift to more luxury coupe rather than a sportier coupe as the G35 was.
My expectations for this car are high. It remains to be seen if the interior will continue to be rattle and squeak free which plagued my former car. I also will anticipate how well the highly praised AWD performs in midwest winters.
Overall satisfaction is superior thus far!...read morehide

Best value for the money; style, performance, options, comfort with room for two adults in the back.

Solid build - Very fast - Corners great,, I had a 3 series and the G is definitely a step up in performance, looks and value. 09 7 speed auto tranny as worth the wait and smooth as butta. Just a great car plus styling that will look great forever. Once you take the time to learn the electronics, they are extremely user friendly. Ipod interface is the best in the biz, dual climate is extremely effective. "birds eye" navigation is the cleanest. Seats you never want to get out of. Paddle shifters are great for a grin. To get a better ride, after the tires wear out, replace the 19"s with 18"s and spec 50 series tires from your tire dealer,, it makes a great difference for a smoother, quieter ride. Hard to imagine a better coupe for under 50k will ever be made. Pure class for adults only. Reward yourself!...read morehide

I just purchased a brand new 2009 G37 Coupe Journey with the Sports Package, Navigation Package and Premium Package and I have to say it is a blast to drive.
I've heard so much about the VQ-series engine and everything they say about it is right. It is smooth, powerful and sounds incredible. The 320+hp is more than enough to get this car moving fast.
I can't say enough about the new 7-speed transmission. It is so smooth that aside from the first-second shift, it is almost impossible to tell when it's shifting. When you press the accelerator hard at freeway speeds (around 70-75mph in California), it shifts down fast and just throws the car forward.
I've added the Sports Package with the 19" wheels and tires and the upgraded brakes and they are unbelievable. They just grip hard and the turn in fast. The upgraded suspension keeps the car flat in tight turns. Of course the package also makes the ride a little harsher than the standard suspension and there is a little more tire noise, but the trade off (including the upgraded sports seat with 12-way power adjustments including a thigh support) makes it worthwhile. The Magnesium Paddle Shifters are really cute, but not really a necessity in daily driving.
The Navigation Package and the Premium Package adds a lot of gadgets that are simply overwhelming at the beginning. This includes the Hard Drive based Navigation, Bluetooth, 11-speaker Bose system, Moonroof, Rear looking camera and a host of other gadgets. You know you have way too many gadgets when the owner's manual pack is too large for the glove box and the carry case for the pack has velcro at the bottom to keep it held down in the trunk.
The two things I really don't like about the car is the storage space inside. The glove box can barely hold 6 CD's and the center console can't hold any. iPod interface is standard and that's about all that fits in the center console. The other is the Bose system. It sounds rather muddy and the bass response is pretty weak. Yes it gets loud, but not really what I would consider a premium stereo sound.
Overall, this is an incredible car for the value. Compare it with the BMW 3-series, the only real direct competition in the market and the value shines through. I am incredibly happy with my new baby....read morehide
