Pros

Good fuel economy, feels like an SUV but handles like a car, easy to park almost anywhere

Cons

weird blind spot at front edges, kinda useless iPod "holder"

I've owned my Compass for nine months and really love it. It's very comfy to drive and has a nice, sleek look but with the classic "Jeepy" front which I love.
Perfect for our family of four, and I'm not stuck driving a minivan.

Pros

Excellant Fuel economy, tons of leg room front and back, comfortable ride

Cons

the higway road noise can be annoying especially on rougher road surfaces

Out of the many different cars, SUV's and crossovers I test drove, the Jeep Compass was by far the best offer not only in price but looks and feel of drive. The ESP icluded in the North package was an added safety bonus. Price being one item on my list, the other was cost.. oil changes, repairs, warranties etc. Again the Compass topped out of those I had road tested and investigated....read morehide

Have 43,000 miles on our 2008 Compass - have not been in for service yet other than oil change - not even brakes or tires. Runs great, looks good, super gas millage and cost little to buy and operate.

Pros

Good Fuel economy as it's a 2 wheel drive, handles well

Cons

Brakes do make some noise, manual windows sometimes are down a little

I've had my car for about a year and still really glad I bought it.
