Problems with power windows, could use more space in back

I drove a 2006 Liberty for three years before I traded it in for a Jeep Patriot (mostly because I missed the Cherokees and the Patriots had that "Cherokee" look). The main problem we had were with the power windows. Apparently, Chrysler's windows were too heavy for the design of the regulators and, as a result, the power windows kept going out, eventually getting to a point where the glass would simply fall down into the door frame. Chrysler, to their credit, did fix it under warranty at 44000 miles, but they were not going to issue a recall because they did not consider it a safety hazard, even though there were many other complaints about the windows in the Liberty (apparently a recall would have made Chrysler engineers redesign the whole thing, and they weren't gonna do that). Other than the window issue, I loved my Liberty. Hopefully Chrysler has fixed the situation with the newer Liberty. Overall, it's a good vehicle, good power, tight turn radius for parking in small spaces, and hey, it's a Jeep!
