I purchased a 2009 model Jeep Cherokee Crd Ltd 2.8 auto-tiptronic diesel in January this year, imported directly from Toledo, Ohio.
This vehicle is branded the Liberty in the States.
This is my second Jeep Cherokee and what a pleasure to drive. The only two negative things are the passenger seat electronic slide mechanism, which does not have a tilt function/mode as was the case in the 2004 version? Another negative is the positioning of the emergency flash situated at the bottom of center consol - not ergonomically pleasing as far as reach is concerned. Jeep should focus on the customer; you the driver and not simply make changes that detract from previous jeep versions. I requested the 18" wheels, however the traction w.r.t the tires leaves much to be desired. I prefer Good Year Wranglers as opposed to the Firestone 205 Eagle. By all means improve, upgrade, but not for the wrong reasons!
