The 2.4 engine (175 hp) really has some serious power. I did put a cold air flow and K and N filter on it. The gas mileage rose by the trip computer 6 miles. The power increase is noticable. This is my first new car so I was very anal about my choices. It was Optima or the Forte. Both cars are really good quaility and are built here in the US. I looked the The Big Three. All those cars are junk. AL heads on a iron block. Major problems with those engines. I am happy with my pick and hope this helps any person who is looking.
