Bought the 09 in Janurary and love it. Bought car for my wife but I enjoy driving it as much as she does. Took trip to Florida recently and car performed very well.

I purchased a 2009 Kia Optima EX V6 in December of 2008. I purchased it for the looks of the redesigned body style but wish I did not. It has left me stranded on the side of the read several times and on long trips the drivers seat is very uncomfortable with the leather interior. The gas mileage is also not what I would have expected. I average 26 mpg with mostly highway driving. I am considering waiting until the 2010 Ford Taurus comes out and buying that....read morehide

I WILL definately buy another Optima. It is a great mid-sized car, good handling, good mileage and a good value for the money. I cannot think of any other vehicle that I would have even considered. I love my optima. It is very reliable, and starts up immediatly. Almost three years old and never had any problems with it. What I like most is that you cannot hear the engine It is so quiet. Highly recommend.
