passenger air bag turns off

the passenger airbag does not activate for safety if small child is in seat OR my wife. ( 5'5" / 130 # ).... she must sit in a particular position to get air bag to activate. Has been back to dealer over 6 times and factory rep. from main office. I am told by KIA that this is the way the seat was designed and to just live with it. Looked on internet and see where hundreds others having same problem. My guess is that KIA is worried about having a recall which would cost them money. Hope nothing ever happens to my wife . Other than this problem I like the car even tho I'll never buy another due to poor customer service.............read morehide

Car jumps when excellarated, doesnt get good gas like they said, rough ride!

I love the look of this car as they have made a great opal white color white with silver handles, it has all the bells and whistles, but I didnt know I thought the first time ever buying a 4 cyl, that it get worse gas than my usual grand marquis mercury, I has a very dangerous feature that happens for no reason the car jumps as soon as you put your foot on gas pedal say at a light, it jumps forward, it scares me, but the car has nice size, I wouldnt get a 4 cyl again, and I think I would go with the ride of my daughters honda accord, I did buy the car for its warranty , already my left rear brake light is out and window brake light, never had this happen in a car with only 16,ooo miles, I have had v8 all my life , I will deffinately get a 6 next time and a smoother ride, for the money of $19,000 and paid cash it is not what I expected, this jumping thing is scary!!!
