Plain and simple: This car is driven to get you from point A to point B. It is not a car to enjoy a drive in. I own a 2005. I use it to drive to work 30 minutes away, on the highway. I use it to go buy groceries. I don't drive it around to impress anybody. It has never failed me. I treat it well since it takes me to work. That's all it's used for. If you're buying a car to make you feel good about yourself, this is not the car for you. Plain and simple. The braking is not excellent, but then again, this car shouldn't be driven on the highway as if you're driving a pricy car. I can drive 80 miles per hour without any problems, if there's a need for it....read morehide

I can honestly say that this is the worst car I've ever driven in my life. I felt unsafe from the moment I pulled off the lot. It handles like an oversized SUV and I didn't feel any confidence whatsoever if I had to try to avoid an accident. Brakes seemed decent, but tires are so small I can't imagine this thing would stop very well in an emergency situation. Radio was OK. Ride was suprisingly good. Steering wheel vibrated above 60 MPH (a speed you barely feel comfortable exceeding in this car). This thing is an embarrassment. I can't believe people actually buy this car. You can get so much more for you money! Look out for your life--this car would not stand a chance in an accident....read morehide

Just got my Rio Today and I can't find a thing wrong. For the price and the level of car you can not go wrong. The warranty on this thing goes on forever. It drives very good. Its not a sport car, it is a car to get yu from here to there and do it right. Not may thrills, but what it does it does right. I love this car....read morehide

This is a great car for those who want to save money on gas and "save" the planet. However, it is extremely compact and the engine is weak compared to the standard sedan.
If you want a car just to get to short distances, this is your choice. This car is very cheap and plain, like a cake without icing. Just keep in mind that the more you put into a car, the more you should expect....read morehide
