A roomy, reliable car that you definately feel safe putting your children in, but pricier than a mercedes-benz or BMW alternative. I do like the extras that can be included (seat warmers, DVD players, sun roof, etc.) without getting extra things you don't need as a "package." At the other brands I went to, you could only get what you wanted if you got the engine case, or something useless like that. I feel comfortable spending a bit more for this car and getting what I actually WANT in it than getting a similar alternative and wasting money on things I don't need....read morehide

My Father always wanted a Land Cruiser. He was sick of our stupid Corolla. So one Monday evening after work, Pa and me went to the dealer. We told the salesman what we want, he asked us how much we will pay. Pa had 330 k in the bank 4 the car and my uncle gave him the rest and we had enough cash to buy the brand new Lexus LX. The salesman coaxed my pa to buy it with almost all the options on it. When we got the car, we went 4 a testdrive. It was amazing. The ac, the power, the off road capability, the powerseats, the massager, everything was awesome. Anybody who can splash out AED 300000+(USD 76500-86000) May surely buy this car....read morehide

My loving parents purchased this vehicle seven months ago and I was extremely excited, in fact, I was the one who kept promoting the purchase of it. The days before we purchased it I had trouble sleeping because of the excitement I had, and if I did sleep, I dreamt about it always. Before I go on, I have to reward it for the driving experience. No luxury utility vehicle in it's class can parrallel how smooth, quiet, and comfortable it is. I am a fourteen who I have to hand it to myself can drive very well and enjoys driving. Driving the LX and many similiar cars before, there's no way any car can defeat it. I have to now go on to technology. The LX is the most equipped SUV in it's class. I love the active height control (AHC) and adaptive variable suspension (AVS), the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is out of this world and my parents love it. In conclusion, I can't talk about everything in this review due to the fact that there are just too many aspects too consider. I just want to say that this is the ultimate cruising machine and it hands down is much better than all of it's rivals including the Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-Benz GL, Audi Q7 (which I spent a few days with) and much more. Mercedes, Audi, Lincoln, Cadillac and others have merely nothing on the Lexus LX 570. I reccomend this vehicle to everyone, I also reccomend every other vehicle made by Lexus to everyone especially the number one LS 460 which the S550 has nothing on. Power will pull a couple of boats, but why pay for it if you don't have a couple of them

I have had two LX's before. they were great quality and, while at the high end, I could justify the price. This one, almost $15,000 higher than last year's model, is priced such based on new power to pull. Unless you are towing, it is difficult to justify.

This LX 570 replaced a 2005 LX 470 with 100,000 miles. Although the LX 470 was great, no problems, the new 570 truly is a completely new vehicle. The technology, power, features and actually gas mileage has been improved. Highway mileage is as high as 19 mpg at 75 mph w/ac on. The LX 470 topped out at 17 mpg under same circumstances. The 570 will move with the best of the with the larger engine.

Costly to purchase, but you get what you pay for!
