2009 Mazda MAZDA3 s Grand Touring 5-Door

Pros

Great looks, lots of space w Hatch back version, great handling, nice interior

Cons

Front sit not very confortable for long ride. No roof rack available from Mazda!

I love the looks great, the ride is fantastic. Very sporty feeling, I used to own a BMW and feels very close to it when you driving a 2.3 L
Fuel economy is ok, could be better. I get average of 22.5 mph in the city and 29 HWY w a manual transmission.
Front sit is not very confortable, and if you are obese, like my wife, or for a long drive, you will complain.
Even though Mazda tells you not to town, I have been towing my jet ski and I have towed my motorcycle several times with no problem at all. After all, we do that in Europe. You don't need to have a truck to town anything less than 1000lbs. a 2.3L engine will do. But I am not sure if I would town using an automatic transmission.
Overall, I am happy with the car. You can not fit as much stuff as I put in the back of this car (being a Hatchback) in any other mid size car!!! It is great for that also! Very functional 5 doors.
