My first MB and I'm loving it(2009 C3004W Cert pre-owened). This car is very smooth and has a nice solid feel. Fun to drive! The car is very sporty and I love the look of it, I get compliments on it all the time. It looks like the more expensive MB's. I think the gas mileage is on par for a 6 -cylinder. I used to be an Acura/Honda guy, but now I'm sold on Mercedes. After 3 months, I love this car even more. This one is a keeper. So far so good, hopefully I will not have any major problems as some other reviewers have said. Compared to others, such as Acura TSX and Audi A4, I am definitely glad I chose the C-class....read morehide

This is one hot ride....run it through the 7 forward gears manually, and it's a rocket. It corners well. the interior is typical German. Not a lot of backseat room. Love the way it handles, the power, the navi system that closes into the dash. It's a keeper.
One reviewer complained about the gas mileage and premium gas...well, it's a high performance engine and all depends on how you drive it - drive it like I do, and yeah,. it uses the gas. All luxury cars of any makes use premium gas. I have not had any mechanical issues. I saw these babies debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto show. Traded in a 2003 CLK 320 cab for this......read morehide

Has P1 package and Ipod kit. Unbelievable build quality. Biggest disappointment is lack of rear folding seat as standard equipment. It is available only as an option in the P2 package which is a $2,000+ extra package. Fuel economy is decent. Pickup is amazing and transmission is very smooth. Car is so well insulated and solid; with windows closed road noise is virtually undetectable. Car makes a nice statement; luxury edition grill and hood ornament compliment the overall sporty body style. By far, the nicest car I've owned in my 21 years of driving....read morehide

What a stunning automobile! A little to flashy for my liking, I enjoyed the looks of my 2006 c-class, but I understand I'm weird and in the minority there. The performance is there, but you have to look at this car as a sporty luxury car, not a luxurious sports car (ie. BMW). Yes, there is a difference in the semantics. Like any German auto its built solid like a tank. Now for the cons, the quality of the material used in the interior is unacceptable. I understand there was a push to lower curb weight for this whole green movement but the engineers should have looked to other sources to cut weight. Besides, you don't buy a Mercedes to save the environment....read morehide

Practical but with luxury. Love the multimedia features, comfort and handling - especially in wet weather or in snow.

I just purchased my 1st new 2010 MB and it will be available for pickup from the factory in Germany on 5 October 2009!
I have wanted a MB for some time now and I purcased this one as a gift to myself for retirement. For now I have only test driven and I can't wait for my red-carpet pickup day! I really appreciated all the feedback from the reviews it gave me insight on what to be aware of with my new MB....read morehide

I bought mine in April '09. I have not had any problems with this car. The only thing I would change is the black interior because it gets really hot in the summer. I recommend everyone to take one for a test drive.

Handling is very, very good for a 4-door passenger car. The ride is very compliant on multiple surfaces. Precise and very responsive steering, excellent and predictable handling, high speed stability and the like make the C350 a fun car to drive in *** many **** conditions.
It does not have enough power to satisfy all, but with a clever and knowledgeable driver it more than suffices for what's purpose is. The engine just "feels right" from idle to its rev limit and mated to the 7-speed transmission its uber-engineering is easily evident.
Sometimes I marvel at the looks of the exterior while other times it seems so "blaaah". Mostly I like it - in the right kind of light and angle ;)
Can't say much about the interior because i got the cheapest 350 I could get: plastic interior, no navigation, no bells or any other whistles and i'm okay with that. Well, actually, I wish I had gotten the leather.
So what do I not like? A number of things. First, this car is mostly a waste of its potential on the US roads i drive. When traffic is relatively moving, it cruises at 80-85mph effortlessly and uneventfully. The steering is way too light. It does so many things so well that it is boring to drive. It is limited to 133mph (or so) and that is just when it starts to get "planted" to the road as if it truly is on rails. And that's when citations come in. And why isn't there a 6-speed manual being offered in United States? That would have been a dream come true (even though the 7-speed auto is near excellent). The only complaint about the 7-speed is that is has quite a bit of lag when manually limiting the top gear (and it really is limiting the top gear, it is not shifting gears as in a manual mode)
There are some other minor oddities that I don't like but they're not worth mentioning (for me anyways).
By The Numbers Summary - after 27,000 miles (it is a 2008 model)
* 23.4 miles per gallon in traffic raging from heavy, hot weather to light traffic and cool temps.
* no mechanical problems
* average speed an amazing 36mph (yup, long live California traffic).
Conclusion: A smart driver will understand the environment that the C350 was engineered for and will be very happy with it. I, on the other hand, think I was a little premature in buying this car as it does many things too well and needs to be driven hard to create some excitement and the feeling of being "engaged" - and by that time the traffic laws are well broken....read morehide

I test drove this car a chose it over the M3, M5, CTS-V, and E63. At first it wasn't my favorite pick but over time I kept coming back to it. This car has character. The leather and seats are great (unless your big), The exhaust sounds amazing, the ride doesn't beat you up, and the car is a rocket ship when piloting your favorite back road. As the magazines will tell you its not the fastest car around the track but this car is the most livable as a daily driver. When your sitting in traffic you just cruise in C and listen to the great stereo system or use the nav to find an Alternate route and then when the road clears up you switch the traction control off and put it in M and your gone. This car brings a smile to my face every day. Over the past five years I have gone through a car a year but I have yet to think about another car. I have even stopped being interested in my car magazine subscriptions because I feel that this is the best car. This car is more capable then my C6 that I traded in for it plus it seats 4. This morning I past a C6 on a country road that was less than perfect and couldn't help laughing when he tried to catch up but couldn't because of the punishment the suspension was putting on him. Lastly this car is rare. I always see M3's on the road but have yet to see another C63....read morehide
