I can seat five people comfortably, carry 4 sets of golf clubs and arrive in style. The best SUV ever. Transmission and engine is solid. Lots of giddy-up when needed.

I have owned the car for a month now. My overall experience has been great. This car is really fun to drive, especially for an SUV. Gas mileage is good, 15city-20highway. Command system is awesome and easy to use. The rear entertainment system is also very nice with large screens. P1 package has no memory seats. Somewhat of an inconvenience if there are multiple drivers. The seats are also a little stiff but sporty. Overall great car with a lot of great compliments....read morehide

Very happy with this vehicle. We've had it just over a month and have 3000 miles on it already. Drives as good or better than my 06 e-class that I traded in. Very quiet and our range meter for the fuel goes as high as 800 miles on a tank of fuel if you keep your speed around 60-65 mph. Love the vehicle and would definately reccomend it to a friend....read morehide

I purchased my ML350 in March 2006 (paid in full), by August 2009 my transmission went bad --- with no notice; no alerts/warnings. The cost fix it $6500. Mercedes of America refuse to take any responsibility for their product advising that because I didn't perform the maintenance service to my transmission at 40,000 miles, they would not assume responsible for the performance of their vehicle. That particular service mentioned costs approx. $400 and consist of basic draining and refill of the fluids!! I have been a 3x Mercedes owner, but I will not buy another and caution anyone against buying the ML350. Others have had major problems with this vehicle as well. You shouldn't expect this type of performance from at $70,000 vehicle or this type of customer service from a loyal customer!!...read morehide

Had a 2006 ML350 4Matic, and got rid of it for a new 2009 ML350 4Matic yesterday. It has tons of features than the 06. Drives awsome! Love the XM radio and especially the IPod feature too! I am in love with it!

There were three vehicles I wanted. The 2010 BMW 535, 2010 E350 and the 2009 MB 320ML Bluetec. I would have been fine with any of the three. I wanted a sport sedan, but if I could get the ML 320 I would be fine because of it's technology and MPG, and also its torque. Addionally I drove my wife's ML 350 and really liked the solid ride.
I have been getting about 24 MPG with mixed driving. From a stop, the engine is a little slow, yet over 2000 RPM there is plenty of passing power and it seems to accelerate on the highway faster than the ML 350 which my wife has. It doesn't really feel like you're moving fast but then you are blowing by other cars on the highway.
There is a little click of the engine while idling, but other than that it is very quiet, especially for a diesel engine. Also I don't smell the diesel exhaust thans to Adblue.
The interior is luxurious and the seats are comfortable. The command center is easy to use for the technologically inclined but perhaps not as easy to use as some japanese car electronics.
One more thing. I got a great deal. The other cars I wanted were 2010s and the dealer incentives were just not there. There is definitely a lot of 2009 MB SUV inventory so that I was able to get new technology at a discounted price....read morehide

This is my 2nd AMG ML63. The changes from 2008 to 2009 are great. New LED taillights, new headlights, updated COMAND electronics, hot new 20" AMG wheels and more standard features (like Keyless Go and Parktronic).
While the ML63 is very, very expensive, one is rewarded daily with the finest Mercedes-Benz has to offer. The leather, wood and materials are S-Class worthy and the whole cars just oozes quality and prestige.
Eventhough this supercar, er superSUV, has over 500hp & a race tuned suspenison...it is very comfortable and a great daily driver for me and my toddler. Thanks to the new, advanced Airmatic suspension and Active Body Control, the ride is extremely comfortable and enjoyable. If I want it to be softer and more "sedan" like, I just put the suspension in "C" (comfort) mode, and I feel like I am in an S or E class.
Electronics and standard Bluetooth work flawlessly and effortlessly. A/C is top notch, easy to operate and cooling is even, strong and efficient. Heated & cooled seats are standard, and here in HOT California, the cooled seats are great in our 100+ weather. No more sticky back!
Reliability on my 2008 ML63 was flawless, and so far every indicator for my 2009 is showing perfection as well. If you want the best of the best...then the 2009 ML AMG is for sure the right choice. Mercedes-Benz has invested a lot of time, money, energy in developing and building the 2009 ML. The minute you sit down and then step on the gas, it is obvious that this car is a Mercedes-Benz in every aspect. Danke Schön. Das Beste oder Nichts!!...read morehide

Solid, secure, sure footed little SUV that has all the creature comforts.Experiance with the dealership has been truly exceptional. My wife loves this little mall cruiser.V8 power with the 4-matic and 20k saved over the AMG.
The moronic thing is the inability to ala-cart order leather with 4-wayheated seat and heated steering.
Daughter has a new GMC Acadia. It rides better, and seems to have as much or more torque and spunk as the 550. Still, Acadia lacks the star on the hood for notariety. Not comfortable for long trips if you are tall. The seat just doesn't get to a comfort zone with the console somewhat in the way of your right leg.Hard to get used to the "high tech" column shifter...rather have it on the console. Nav easy to use and clearly more user friendly than GM. Most of these will be driven by soccer moms in upper suburbia anyway. Better power than the 350, especially with a load of people, luggage and stuff. Sure footed in snow. Can get almost same for much less $$....read morehide
