Great on Gas!! Handles very well and fun to drive. Although it is a small car, you feel very safe.

Cons

Leg room in the back for my 6'ft kid, but I'm driving so who cares!!

I purchased my MINI in '06 brand new and from day one I love it! I have never liked small cars, learned how to drive in a '76 Buick regal and have always driven large cars because of the safety "fear", but when I test drove the MINI I did not feel as if I was in a small car. It handles GREAT, I love taking turns and curvs! At one time I was driving 48 miles to work, all city, all red lights, and could go 10 days on the same tank of gas while my co-workers were filling up every 3-5 days. I've driven it to North Carolina and back to Florida on a few occasions and got up to speeds of 130 at some points, the car did not feel like a small car and seemed to get "tighter" as you drove hugging the rode. My MINI is 3yrs old and I feel the same way driving it as I did when it first arrived from England!!
On the comfort part, little more leg room in the back for my passengers, however its usually short distances so I dont hear too many complaints.
