Lancer is my very first car and I have no regret getting it.
I've had many people checking me n my car while stopping at traffic light and some kids shout out "nice car" when I go to the zoo.
The car performs just as aggressively as it looks, handling is excellent that you want to turn at higher speed. Great interior space compared to other econobox. Overall I just really enjoy driving because I own a Lancer.
Only thing I don't like would be the road and engine noise once you reach at high speed on freeway (120km+). Noise gets pretty loud that normal conversation in the car become almost inaudible. I guess this is common among all compact cars under 25 grand.
