This car has great features for the price. Looks sexy and does have some get up and go. If you are looking for EVO get up and go, get an EVO. If your looking for the best looking car out there this is it. It also has fantastic features. I recommend the sun and sound package. Rockford fosgate setup and sun roof, but also includes the F.A.S.T key access. Look it up if you don't know what it is. Truthfully the plastics in the door panel are a little on the flimsy side. Although the interior is simple, not cheap like the other sites may say. Simple yet sporty. Paying due respect to the trimming that spans from door accross the dash to the other door. I recommend taking one for a test drive and you will see what I mean. Solid car that turns heads. I do however recommend getting the 10 year bumper to bumper. I recommend this option because all of the tech intergrated into this car. Definatly check it out if your in the market before making a final choise on a four door sport....read morehide

Got a new lancer with dealer incentives for well under MSRP. Was in an accident less than a month after. Safety features worked perfectly and likely saved my life. Aside from that everything about it feels like a higher end sports car.

Lancer is my very first car and I have no regret getting it.

I've had many people checking me n my car while stopping at traffic light and some kids shout out "nice car" when I go to the zoo.

The car performs just as aggressively as it looks, handling is excellent that you want to turn at higher speed. Great interior space compared to other econobox. Overall I just really enjoy driving because I own a Lancer.

Only thing I don't like would be the road and engine noise once you reach at high speed on freeway (120km+). Noise gets pretty loud that normal conversation in the car become almost inaudible. I guess this is common among all compact cars under 25 grand....read morehide

I can honestly say without a doubt this has been one of the best choices I've ever made. I had to get a new a car because my '99 Cavalier was on it's last legs due to a wreck and I needed a new car. I've been a fan of Mitsubishi since they came out with the Eclipse, which is what I as after. I pulled up on the lot and saw the new Lancers and fell in love with them immediately, especially after test driving it. Anyone that I've let drive my car has done the same, they are extremely responsive and very reliable. I love the sun and sound package as well as all the other add ons that came with it. The one thing that really stood out was the color of the car which I hear that comment more than anything else. I've also taken my car on two long road trips and never had one problem with going and coming back. So I would recommend this car to anyone who was interested in a great car....read morehide

Manual tranmission great on gas MPG hwy up to 36.5 no joke set cruise control at about 65 and just go handles well Had it for 15 months so far and only put on about 9,000 miles will keep it for now.

My husband and I bought our 09 GTS on Memorial Day and absolutely love it! We got the sun&sound package which I absolutely adore. The trunk is really roomy and fits more than I thought. It has a very smooth ride, and great turn radius.My job requires traveling, and it has never done me wrong! A good 500 miles to destination and never stopped for gas, until on my way back 4 days later! I completely recommend! Worst Transmission Sound ever!!!!!!!

Folks I will tell you DO NOT, DO NOT DO NOT buy this car. I bought this car 3 months ago and had worst experience ever. The thing is when you accelerate the sound of transmission and engine is so loud that is unbearable. The sound it makes is type of milling sound, like what two pieces of metals are scraping each other. All in all please DON'T buy this car I am begging you or you will have worst experinece ever....read morehide

I've had this car for about a month and I love it. I still can't wait to drive it. I wake up in the morning and just want to go and drive it. It has an awesome design! Especially when you look at it from the front. The seats are really comfortable. For the price I don't know what other car I'd rather have. This car is just awesome! I do not regret buying it at all. This car really doesn't even compete with the Corolla, Civic, or Mazda3. It should be in a class on its own.
Think about it. Your really buying the base model for a 26000 dollar car for as much as a corolla. Why would you pass on this?

When I saw this car I was hooked on the looks and performance. The Stereo in second to none for a car at this price. Rebates and price were great @ the time also. Recaro seats are comfortable but there is NO six way setting. That really makes no sense. MPG is not very good. 23 to 24 is the best I can do but with a Turbo it is tough not putting my foot into it, very fast for a 2.0 with turbo. Lots of room for 4 adults to sit comfortably. Lots of shary edges on the steel stampings and tinny doors. I guess for the $$$$ a good purchase. We will see how in holds up....read morehide
