I own a 2004 Nissan Armada SE 4X4 and I am loving every minute of it. I have currently 82,000 miles on it and those were some very good miles spent on it. The towing capacity is incredible and it hauls anything with a trailer mount.I bought the SE because the LE was a little expensive but I did add a back-up camera to mine which is wired to a portable 8 inch touch screen navigation. It works great and I also love the BOSE system in it. I recommend anyone to buy this vehicle if they want a luxury SUV that seats 8 or 7 and they want their passengers to be comfortable. Try fitting 8 people comfortably in a chevy suburban, its not comfortable, my sister has one and everyone is squished. One thing I want to ask though is that my RSS (rear sonar system) on mine is not working properly. The orange light illuminates whenever i put it into reverse, any ideas?? But anyways I love the body shape and the engine and this vehicle is quick from 0-60 which is about 7-8 seconds. But really now come on people just go get an Armada or test drive it and you will be amazed. Keep going all ARMADA'S!!!...read morehide

I have only had my Armada for 5 months but so far I love it. I had the dealer add leather to the SE package and it really dresses up the interior and is very comfortable. Even though it drives more like a truck than some of its competitors it does drive and handle nicely for its size. I would definitely recommend one to anyone who needs the size....read morehide

This is a beast! Very roomy, lots of power, handles well. Bought a 08' SE with 18,000 miles with clean carfax for under 26K. Love this car. Tired of everyone talking about mpg. Yes, its not great (15-18mpg), but lets see you drive 7 people on a vacation to Florida in your Escape or CRV. By the time you would have everyone and their luggage you would need 2 Escape/CRV's put together to get the same carrying capacity. What did you say about gas mileage? Our V-6 Exploder only got 18mpg on a good day(spelled wrong on purpose). It's a shame these fine vehicles will be fazed out after 2010. Nissan should invest in a hybrid version. Take a look at the ugly panel van on the internet that they are going to build at the Armada factory, looks like a horrible move to me. People with families need these large vehicles. Wake up AMERICA/NISSAN!...read morehide

This is my 2nd Armada, after putting 100K on my 2004. I love both of them, and would have even kept the 04 if it didn't have so many miles. My other car is a 2008 Infiniti M35x and I almost like driving the 'Mada better...

I bought my "Armama" in 2006 after being a Quest owner. I love the ride of this car. You couldn't ask for a more comfortable ride unless you have a motorhome. We have easily carried 8 people, all of which were extremely comfortable. I own the LE edition, so mine is fully loaded. The truck tows like a dream whether it is our camper, boat or a trailer with motocross bikes. The truck handles great in the snow and rain. Easy 4 wheel drive. Though the truck does not get the best gas milage, one needs to consider what it offers. With gas being at a more realistic price these days, it isn't so painful on my wallet to fill. One last thing to add: Three car seats can fit across the middle row without touching! That is amazing! Seats are split bench and fold pretty flat, so configuring the seats with passengers and a cargo load with long items work in this vehicle....read morehide

Overall, I really like my vehicle. My Armada is a beautiful black and my brother calls it "The Big Buffalo". I am a small woman and I love the ease of handeling it on the highway and in town. I have not mastered the navigation system, however, I am working on it. Greeeat look and ride. I love the power. It will definitely get up and go!...read morehide

This is my second Armada, I thought about the Q56, GX 470 and the Sequoia. I sat down in the 2009 LE 4X4 loaded and was sold immediately. I had to trade my 2007 because of a job-relo, I missed it; but this 2009 is way more sharp and the features are top notch. In the end I'm glad it worked out the way it did.
Fuel economy is bad but it does use flex fuel, which is offered in lots of Illinois gas stations....read morehide

I love my Armada. I never really noticed them until we rented one, that was all she wrote I HAD to have one! Mine is red brawn. I don't care for the color in the shade but in the sunlight the metallic makes the pain pop. I LOVE the material of the seats, having had leather in just about every car I have ever had the cloth seats were a welcome change. I do wish that ALL of the seat backs had the plastic on the back like the drivers seat.
Even the base model comes with A LOT of extra's that would be pricey in other cars. My favorite extra is that both driver and passenger side windows have the express up.
I love the way this vehicle drives and I love the power. However having all of that power hurts the gas mileage luckily I don't drive very often.
Having six people in my family this vehicle is GREAT for hauling the kids around in. The center row seat has A TON of space. My Husband in about 6'4" and my kids are all very tall, they have plenty of leg space! I love that the center row can hold 3 full size car seats across without touching each other. Also TONS of cup holders and places to put toys, papers and what have you!!!!!
The first day I had my Armada people were chasing me to tell me how much they liked it. I get SO MANY complements. However, it does make it hard to go car shopping for my Husband or Parents. It looks so expensive people automatically think *money*....read morehide

I now have almost 6oK miles and I have not had any problems. I replaced the tires at 50K and just replaced the battery at 60K. I have taken this Armada to Wyoming from Virginia on two road trip vacation and it was the best time we had in family fun. The room inside is great, you can really sleep in the rear with seats folded. The ride is comfortable and there are tons of features. I compared this to Toyota and hands down this is much better value...more features less price. I even liked the seating in here better than Toyata....read morehide
