GT-R owners or would be owners-----Get the fine print of the warranty on this bad boy. If you launch the car by activating the LC and shutting off the VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control), the likeihood of you losing your tranny will happen and guess what folks? Its not covered under Nissan Warranty! Yes Nissan boasts that the car will go 0 to 60 in 3.4 sec but that is using the LC. And the repair costs for the tranny is $20K! Yes, it is $20K to fix this. Also if your GT-R was taken to a race track and raced, that voids the warranty as well. So basically, you pay for this pretty car but can only drive it as a car and not use all the bad boy functions. We were looking at buying on but not anymore since this is a major problem that Nissan has. What's the point of paying all that $$$ just to have the car sitting if the tranny is not covered.....
