This car uses very cheap plastic material on dashboard and door panels . This plastic makes lot of irritating noise when outside temperatures change(due to expansion and contractions). I took it to two dealers but they could not fix it.

I leased a new 2009 Morano last February and we are very pleased with its performance. I love the CTV transmission as you do not notice the shift changes. The back up camera is exceptional especially for my wife. We live in Northwestern Wisconsin and it performs very well in the ice and snow. We are averaging 23 miles to a gallon of gas which is much better than my previous pickup. We have a hard time remembering to turn on the headlights because we previously has automatic lighting. The seats don't lay flat however that hasn't really caused a problem. I would also like to see a larger space for cup holders in the front seat! The reason I leased was to see if I liked the Murano enough to purchase one. So far Okay....read morehide

I have a 2006 Nissan Murano and had to replace the battery in less than 2 years and the warranty did not cover the entire price. I also have a leeking power steering fluid hose that needs to be replace and it has taken over 4 weeks to get the new part because they are on back order and they don't know when they will get the part....read morehide

First of all, keep in mind I went from a 2006 BMW 325i to the 2009 Murano. The vehicle handles exceptionally well, especially given that it is a crossover vehicle. The throttle is every bit as responsive as my BMW's and the handling is amazing. I got very used to being able to zip around corners and clover leafs at very high speeds in my BMW, and was afraid I was going to have to give that up for more room. Not at all! I also was not happy about having to switch to an automatic transmission after driving a manual transmission for 26 years. The CVT is a great compromise. I've always felt that other automatic transmissions were too jerky, not so with the CVT. Overall I have been extremely pleased with this vehicle, other than no automatic headlights....read morehide

We got rid of 2005 BMW X3 to purchase this car. No comparison in the two, the BMW may have handled a little better but was a noisy rattle trap. The Murano is very quite and smooth, the Bose sound system is even better than the one in my G37. The shopping bag holder for groceries is a big plus for the wife. All in all a very nice vehicle....read morehide

This is the most fun I have ever had driving! Everytime I get into my Murano, I feel special. The LE AWD model has all the bells and whistles and great quality.
